Sammy Jo's a gay guy now? :) I loved the Battlestar Galactica reboot making Starbuck a girl, but I never expected this.

 

Apparently this was originally just planned as a movie but it's been picked up as a series.

Didn't they try that a few years back with Dallas and it didn't work?

 

I think that Dallas was more of a 'reunion' series like the upcoming Will & Grace with same actors recurring their lengendary roles, although there were new actors cast for adult John Ross and Christopher with new characters introduced. It lasted a couple of seasons, I think.

 

Looks like this Dynasty will have an entirely new cast. It will be interesting to to see how it fares on the CW.

I'm interested to see how they work in the Alexis character. She's got to live up to the great Dame Collins!

Maybe they can bring back Joan Collins to play Alexis, the bitchy and meddlesome mother-in-law.

 

One never knows, but I could not envision Joan Collins being willing to play Blake's mother in law, nor do I see her being able to appear credible as his ex-wife, at this time. She is 84 years old. I guess if the money is right and they make it a point that she is younger, perhaps she would bite.
