I agree that an escort should charge what he thinks appropriate. However, no one has mentioned the effect it has on the market when a newcomer to the trade advertises exorbitant rates. In Toronto the going rate for in call service was $200/hr. Some visitors come to town charging more and the average rate increases. Local clients end up paying more. Another trend I detest is escorts advertising their rate in US dollars in Canada. Obviously they want to charge more but advertising the rate in foreign currency gives the illusion of staying within market boundaries.

Penguin pricing is a joke, one penguin says $350 so all the other penguins quickly and blindly follow. The only way it works is when you get belittled and beat down in here and actually start to believe that paying those rates are your only option or that there is something wrong with you if you won't.

 

Some guys have earned the rates they charge and do make their own choices based on their business models and what works for them. Those guys have built client lists and really do deserve the premium they can command. The other "penguins", the ones who just slap a $300 an hour rate on the ad cause it seems like its what the cool kids are doing... hell no!

 

It is also very normal and reasonable that discussions about rates will come up, and maybe frequently, on an escorting themed message board. To think or expect otherwise is wrong. Do feel free and empowered to discuss anything that you feel is important to discuss here about escorting, and never let anyone intimidate, coerce, or try and guilt you out of doing so.

You won't get any argument from me that he could have started out a bit higher.....yeah, I already do like his build too.....just at 6'1" height, a "hunky" weight of about 180 instead of 165 gets closer to my own personal ideal ht/wt combos.....for hiring, I really don't stray too far from the (hairy) 6'4"/220-230 top men very often.
