He's in LA now, but I vaguely remember he's actually from NYC (I might be wrong though). Can't find any information here so would like to ask if anyone up here has ever met him. Thanks :)

 

I had a very awkward encounter with him a few weeks back. He's nice over the phone and will tell you that he's ok with a lot of stuff, but when you actually see him he is disengaged and not at all interested in you. I have a feeling he's straight and not bi like he claims. The session also felt rushed. Oh and the apartment where he is staying in Hollywood is absolutely horrible! Research and you'll see what I mean by that. I actually saw roaches while I was there and was scared of getting bed bugs or something more horrible. The whole place smelled, and so did he. I was so surprised by all this because I felt like I had done my research. Perhaps the good reviews are all made up, who knows.

What does his status matter? Why would you trust his reply (or anyone else's reply)? How would knowing his "status" affect your decision to hire him and what you would do with him? Results are only as good as the instant the sample was taken. Assuming you believe him if he says he's negative (although I don't know went you would) then what? I just assume everyone is positive and act accordingly. I know that's becoming an archaic attitude but it's been working for me for over 30 years.

 

Lumberjack has also advertised a strict "no bareback" policy for quite some time. Since he takes extra precautions like that, it seems strange to me that his reticence to share his medical status with strangers should concern this poster so much.

If this post was directed towards me I have absolutely no issue with his "reticence" to share his status with strangers or anyone. My post was directed at guys who ask someone's status, have faith that the reply they get is truthful or accurate, then potentially change their behavior based on the word of a stranger. Lumberjack hits all my buttons in terms of guys I'm attracted to. His status (or any potential hire's status) is not a factor in my decision. My question was directed to guys for whom status is a factor.

 

Sorry for the confusion. I quoted your post to express my agreement with your response to the poster whose concern seemed misplaced. I should have been more clear about whom I was critiquing.
