Well that was fun.A big turnout-15 at table.A bit of confusion with the seating-and we were seated(finally)at a "L"saped table that really did not put the group to its best advantage.

I think the idea of no more than ten,at a round table,is something to be considered in the future.

It was nice to meet Uncle Bill-who was surrounded by beauty(very chatty beauty might I add :+ )and Dave,as well as the GORGEOUS Rusty,Jay,and Dino.We had an special visitor as well who I hope will be sharing his experiences with us here on the MC.

I had a great time on this first time attending, but I realized afterwards that the seating arrangement fed into my own social wall-flowerism -- giving me a built in excuse to just sit there surrounded by some of the hot boys in attendance rather than getting to know the rest of the attendees better. I will be coming again, and I'll do my best to be more social with all -- and not monopolize the boys, LOL (although, to be fair, I did bring Scott with me, who in turn brought Rusty and another special guest), so I guess that I was due something, LOL. However, I also realized too late that I should have offered to pay more than a normal share of the bill under the circumstances -- and I really do feel bad about not doing that. I hope that you guys will call me out on things when my social graces fail me in the future -- I get a little overwhelmed at gatherings such as this (hell, actually whenever I'm in the company of a hot guy, LOL), and I need people to help me act the way I should.

 

I really appreciated several clients (you know who you are) who went ahead and broke me out of my self-imposed "exile" to greet me and bond a bit. Dave - sorry I didn't talk to you much, but we'll stay in touch -- and you were right about Rusty (he's lots of fun and much cuter than his pics -- he's also a great kisser, but that's a whole other story). It was also fun to have a chance to talk to Jay (Ganimead -- sp?) a little -- he came over to my end of the table after most everyone else had left. His pics have not gone unnoticed by me, and now I know about his great accent and friendliness. Funseeker - your accent is great too, but Jay's just more my type ;-)

 

I was hesitant to come to one of these meetings due to my personal situation (and, to be honest, fearing some of the nastiness that sometimes occurs on this board), but for those of you in the closet like I am, don't be afraid to come meet this group. Lots of good fun in a supportive/comfortable setting. And there are also the doorprizes -- and the chance you might unexpectedly leave with some total hottie. Thanks again to BigGuy, James and the others who coordinate this thing each month.

It was GREAT seeing all of you! I had a terrific time -- and only regret that I wasn't able to chat more with that "other" end of the table -- where a grinning Uncle Bill was holding court surrounded by a bevy of young beauties (Including handsome Mr. Adler and my ever-adorable Rusty!)

 

But I was MORE than satisfied with my tablemates -- including Beguiled, Jay, Nino Bacci, and of course, the ever-loquatious TomCal! :o

 

I am sure HooBoy would have been thrilled that such a great group of guys have been brought together by this wonderful site! Thanks to BigGuyinPasadena for putting this all together.

 

A good time was had by all!

It was a lot of fun, glad everyone could make it! I didn't mind the (BGP improved) seating arrangements, though I was the furthest from the hottie guests (maybe Funseeker had it a little worse but it evens out with the last big gathering where he had the "UncleBill" seat, and unlike Funseeker UncleBill's hands stayed on the table).

 

Other then having a better view I didn't see much advantage to a large group at a round table. That seems to make it even harder to talk to anybody but your immediate neighbors. Maybe there's something to the idea of swapping seats around at some point to stir the pot, or maybe it just remains a perk of getting there on time... Still, we've had a large group before, and the following one was 4 people, so I'm not sure we have anything to worry about, as long as we have a fair idea who's coming each time.

 

UncleBill, glad you could finally join us, we're actually fairly discreet (discreet, but slutty!) and you weren't the only guest in the closet. I think we're even more discreet when we meet in Numbers since it's not a place "mundanes" happen by.

 

In fact we're usually a bit more discreet then this thread reflects, generally we allow "special guests" to announce themselves in the thread, given that the hottest sometimes acquire stalkers... its not as harmful after the fact but it could discourage future attendance...

 

As for the money, our general practice is to add a nice tip to the bill then divide it equally among all, ahem, non "special guests" at the table. It's not always exactly fair but it generally works fine, with heavy drinkers or people with personal guests sometimes pitching in a little extra (which generally goes to the tip, but this time it probably should've gone as a bit of rebate to the non-client but non-working guest... oops).

 

All in all it was a great night, thanks again for setting it up BGP (and putting your foot down about the tables)! The food's certainly better at Cafe 'Twat', but (except for the blue drinks) Numbers is a bit cheaper, sometimes more entertaining, and *usually* pretty accommodating.
