New Rent guy Trends

I've been seeing at trend lately among rent guys. I've responded to a few in that past few weeks and almost all of them are asking me for a picture. I was thinking who on earth caves to that bullshit. Why would you need to see a pic to decide if you even want someone's business. Also these guys are so vague, when I try to get basic information and they don't want to talk. For example "what kind of massage do you do?" Answer is "full body." For $160. For that kind of money it better be more than a lousy, wet fish touching my skin. It's just frustrating. Almost makes me wonder if women are any better.

I would think with the certain shut down of a particular rent site and particular areas of the back pages of some sites, the person you are writing out of the blue is trying to feel you out as much as you are feeling them out. Trying to protect themselves as much as they can in their "service" industry.

Being vague about their services may be due to increased law enforcement scrutiny. Asking for a picture is off putting though and a red flag for me.

I am sorry but the risk is part of the job and thats the reason given for the high prices...maybe they should make it about the time spent and not about the sex and if the trend was for escorts to put there cloths on in ads it might make it a bit more hard to convict on prostitution.

Instead of asking for a pic of you, they should demand you send a pic of your badge then . But you can count me as one who will NEVER be sending pictures out. What's next, copies of your driver license, passport and fingerprints? Also why I dread first meetings and like making those long-term connections so you don't have to play all the bullshit games anymore.

I'll never send any pics out; I've only been asked a couple of times and declined. One guy subsequently backtracked but the nature of his request made me lose interest. I know there are escorts who have voiced appearance/age preferences about the clients they will agree to see and I wish them the best.

 

I had a conversation with a new companion about this topic a couple of days ago.

He shared that on a handful of occasions he was uncertain, after a brief phone conversation, if he felt safe in meeting a client and had asked for photos. I explained my concerns about this: 1) discretion, and, 2) judgement-free acceptance. Those things hadn't occurred to him at all; he viewed it purely as a physical safety issue and I think he now has a new appreciation for the client's perspective.

 

I encourage a little bit of conversation when this arises. There are other ways to approach safety concerns; there is no other way to resolve the not meeting of an escort's appearance acceptance criterion.

Has this guy never learned that a prime reason for using escorts is for discretion? Many of us are married and/or have jobs in the community where it would be an absolute scandal to be outed because someone hacked a website. I fully appreciate how wrong it is to discriminate against any of us because we share some sexual fantasies. But we live in a world where it could be economicaĺy disastrous for us to be fully open.

After I texted with these guys I felt a little weird for using my number. I feel like maybe the whole thing is a set up to get me arrested or logged in a record to watch for. Maybe I'm paranoid, but as someone that enjoys having this kind of fun, I don't need it to destroy me. The first time I was asked for a picture, I was pissed. It's like why should I, does my appearance mean that they won't give me a chance even if I will pay? Plus what about discretion?

Get a number from text free or another similar type app. My cell phone is a company cell phone and I really like giving it out to escorts I've never met or hook ups so that number for texting in those cases
