The term he and a lot of wrestlers would recognize is "selling"--making every move and moment of a scripted wrestling match look and feel as completely unscripted as UFC or boxing or the Olympics or whatever. For some guys this is precisely the turn-on--they were imprinted with pro wrestling early on and that became their fetish, turn-on, whatever, so a well-sold pro wrestling match is all they need. For lots of guys it's the hint of something more, the sensuality of two guys in near-speedos and boots touching each other so intimately and so intentionally, the moans and grunts that escape their lips after a few minutes, the licking of those lips deep into a match, the mutual sweat of glistening bodies...you get the idea! It's pro wrestling, but heightened and highlighted. Geisha literally means Art Person and that's what the legends of underground wrestling like Tristan really are--what he does in a wrestling match is every bit as unique and difficult as Noh theater or perfect flower arranging or playing the samisen to match the rain or holding a fan to match the wind. The trash talk, the heel move, the babyface comeback, and especially RESPONDING to everything a less experienced wrestler offers in the same match--there really is an art to it that is beyond just looking hot and being cocky. Although looking hot and being cocky is always appreciated too!

My guess is "Joe" refers to the guy who is hiring the wrestler, as in "average Joe." Note this is speculation, as I was not able to find any information about this on the non-member portion of the site.
