I've always been amazed that it's so difficult to find list of every possible gay strip club in the country in one place. This forum seems like the perfect place to create a master list, since visitors who post here seem very knowledgable about this subject.

I'll create a master list of the ones that I'm aware of, and if you are familiar with another possibility, or if you're certain that a place has closed down, feel free to comment and I'll update the list.

In order to qualify for this list, a club must

  1. Be an establishment that intentionally caters to gay males.
  2. Be an actual strip club: a place where you can go to be a customer and watch a variety of male entertainers stripping or dancing on more than one night of the week.
  3. Feature full nudity, legally.
  4. Be in the United States.

So here's what shouldn't get added to this list: "Ladies Only" nights. Bars that have gogo boys in underwear where you might see a dick slip occasionally. Sex clubs or spas where you can see other patrons naked, but not male entertainers. (Even though there's nothing wrong with any of those!)

I like this idea. You might want to relax the "one night a week" rule as there are places that meet every other part of your requirements. Just need to mention "one night a week" in the list. Also does that place in Detroit qualify? Gold Coast or a similar name?

What about bathhouses that DO feature male strippers (and jack-off performances?)

Michael Hill has already put together a blog of strip clubs.

That website gives very little information, and makes no attempt at distinguishing between clubs that offer full nudity and those that do not.

Been to many on the list. SR in Atlanta ranks 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in my book. I've never had a bad time and some visits have been memorable and amazing. ATL is three hours or less from 80% of the continental US and lodging is reasonable. ATL even has Southwest Airlines now. I just love it there.

I agree with Becket

This isn't the case. Michael gives a short description of the type of club. For example Swinging Richards says that

  • IMPORTANT INFO:
  • Fully Nude Male Strip Club He also lists the links to its webpage, facebook, etc. I think this is a lot of information. And you can link to get more.

Gold Coast doesn't do full nudity, as far as I know it's illegal in Michigan. There was a bar across the river in Windsor, Ontario that did, but it's been closed for a while.

I think there are some female strip clubs in Michigan that have full nudity but don't serve alcohol like Deja Vu. I wonder what happened to Happy Tap in Windsor. That place used to be packed on both the lower level where the strippers were and the upstairs bar was a lot of fun. Only issue I ran into was one time when I took a friend there for his birthday and he was quoted a certain price for a lap dance and he asked the stripper if that was per song or for the dance and he said the price was for a dance. He did a couple songs and then wanted to engage my friend in a long conversation and at the end he told my friend it was XXXX and he told my friend that each song was considered a dance:) My friend handed him a $20 CAN and grabbed me and said we were out of there. The dancer started complaining he owned him money and my friend told him to call the cops:)

September 11th killed the Happy Tap. People were so freaked out about coming across the US/Canada border. I didn't run into any hassles heading over there on a Friday night, but the crowds had dropped to nearly nothing. I think it closed in Spring of 2002. It reopened years later as Legends of 2012 but was never the same, and that only lasted a couple years.

Makes sense. I remember the first few months have 9/11 it was a total pain in the ass to cross the border coming into the US.

I know Danny's (the male strip club for women) was demolished about five years but it's a big pain to cross the border for some now than before 9/11. Now you have to have a passport (pre 9/11 they never asked anyone I was travelling with that didn't have a passport for proof of citizenship but post 9/11 before the passport law went into effect some of the officers were asking for a birth certificate or other proof of citizenship) and I'm told they are getting strict about turning people away who have a DUI on their record where they never really enforced it pre-911.

They no longer have a bathhouse either. There is an escort I used to meet up with in Windsor who wouldn't do border crossings and we would meet up there. Not sure what happened to it but it used to be really busy on Saturday afternoons when I would go there.

You don't have Luckys in Pittsburgh on your list, or has something changed there?

Is it still around? I went there about five years and the place was a real dive. I'm a non-smoker and sensitive to smoke and you could smoke in Pitt bars then (I think you still can" and place was so full of smoke my eyes were burning and the ventilation was awful. It's also not a male only bar and I think there were more fag hags there than guys. It can be a fun bar if you like dives and I would have probably enjoyed it a lot more if I were a smoker

I was at Luckys in Oct '16 - it is still going!

That is correct. I posted the update some where. Anyways, I cannot recommend the place anymore. In my opinion it is still the best strippers club in DC, but it is in decadence and not even close to what it used to be.

You are correct, I overlooked your update, my apologies.

That's too bad, I though we could have a DC meetup there. ;)
