Two years ago I booked a very nice but small resort in Warm Sands in mid-January. I booked 4 weekday nights. The place was empty save for me and the staff. At night I had the whole place to myself, which was not what I had in mind when I planned the trip. It was great for entertaining in the hot tub at night, but not good for gawking or socializing during the day.

I've been to PS in January, as well, on two occasions. It's a bit too early for my liking. The second week in March was a favorite for awhile, but my friends still found that too chilly at night. We eventually moved our trips to the second week of April. Everybody was happy.

That would be a good idea, but I'm arriving on the 17th so if depends on how jet-lagged I am (it will be a 7 hour time difference then rather than the 5 it is now).
