Northeast Gathering for HooBoy Memorial

I've noticed that the rest of the country gets together, fairly often, to mix and mingle and exchange whatever, all based on the common HooBoy thread.

 

I haven't seen an East Coast gathering, and in light of what has just happened, it might not be a bad idea for some, if not all of us, to get together and at least pass a toast to the original instigator of this site.

 

 

Peronally I think it would be a great opportunity to share memories and get to know one another. I'm not thinking of anything super high-class. Just a get together.

 

Respect doesn't have to be elaborate; just sincere.

That is a great idea. New York City seems the best central location on a weekend. Let's try to do it soon. I am always jealous when the LA group announces the next meeting. It will be great to be part of the mix, this time on the east coast.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking that the weekend of the 19th (Saturday) would give us enough time to set something up and alert people.

 

If anyone has suggestions / preferences for a place to gather, that would also be helpful. I believe midtown Manhattan west would probably be the most convenient (and of course, assessible to other places as well) !
