WELL. He says he gets in on Sunday but I know how much I hate to be scheduled the day I arrive :) I'm OK with a Monday morning brunch but I'm sure all of you people have to work for a living :)

If not, and in the spirit of Greg's preferred pronunciation:

C U N ext T uesday !

>Athen-why are you interested in dining with cretans?

>Anyway,,,,I am so confused.....normal state of things I

>know,so is greg going to be in town this weekend. It would be

>nice to have lunch/brunch with a gaggle of hot guys,,,

>

Oh, I have no idea who was talking about brunch, I just like meeting new people. Besides, who am I to judge others? Cretans or not, I haven't met them, so I can't say anything about them. :p

I was just putting it out there that my weekend opened up at the last minute and from the looks of things, I may just be able to make it to Numbers tonight.

Looks like tonights overnight is about to flake...I will know by 6:30 pm.

Geeeeez, I have never been flaked on so many times in my whole life as I have been since I got back into the biz. ;(

Sadler I am getting into LA on Monday at 9am not on Sunday. Sunday I will still be in Loss Wages hopefully not drowning my sorry of losses in a good pint of microbrew rather instead shouting and clappin at the House of Blues Sunday Gospal Brunch. Gotta love some good ole fashion get up and shake your booty gospal music :7

Hugs,

Greg

(perhaps some info on a cretain brunch would help me fill my

>Sunday ;) )

This is really a reply for Michael Vincent, but since he is not responding, I'll take a whack...er..stab..er...turn,

I believe that Athan of course meant certain and while I appreciate him assuming that we're not CRETANS, let me say that I would gladly meet Athan, Greg and anyone else for a brunch.

Since I will be at the dinner tonight, perhaps we can set something up for Cretan lovers and others.

Crouton lovers can be a fun, if a little crusty, bunch.

Umm, anyone plan on heading down to A Different Light on Monday for the BelAmi boys' signing? Lukas, Johan, and Sebastian will be there. (In other words, the boys that built BelAmi.)

I think you have to buy a BelAmi book to get in, but that's not such a terrible thing in and of itself. :+

You can count me in for a brunch on Saturday March 5th. Sorry I can't be there for the din din but I am still in Seattle where we have been having wonderful sunny weather the last week or so. But rest assured guys that I am going to be packin as much sunshine as I can god willing I can live without a few pairs of shoes to bring down to LA and help dry out some of that nasty bitter rain.

Hugs,

Greg

What a fun evening we had last night.Lots of party games involving close contact and switching,,,,,no not that kind you perverts,,,jeeeeesssshhh one track minds around here :p

We had reserved a table for 8-they had us at a tiny round table and it was pretty tight for eight people-well when we got up to 11 the studly Jackhammer-being the in-charge kinda guy he is asked for a bigger table. So we were asked to step outside and never return again!!!No,sorry that was another dinner at numbers involving The enourmous Ryan Holmes(you guys into size should check him out-a true 11 and more)and a champagne bottle,,,,but I digress,,,

So we stepped out to the patio while they made arangements for us-Thanks to Jackhammer and Tony(the owner)The very handome Sean was our waiter and at one point he just threw up his hands,,,,

The table switch was just in time as another hoovillian then showed up.

The group was a lot of fun and quite a few cuties(I do hope SAdler is doing well this morning)and a few new members as well as an out of town guest.

Numbers itself was very busy and there was beef-on-the-hoof galore!Reminded me of the old days.

A great night out and ourgroup was the talk of the restaurant! Thanks to all who attended.

Yes, I agree, it was a lovely evening! ;) I am so glad I was able to make it! :) (after some last minute plan changes on my clients part)

(Again, thank you for the lovely parting gift) ;)

I must say, Numbers is a much nicer restaurant than I had imagined...due to what I've heard of it's reputation. :p

Still life

Last night was one of the most enjoyable evenings.

It reminded me of our first meeting many years ago...heheh

My only regret is that the restaurant ran out of blue food coloring for SAdler's drinks or I am sure he would be hung over today.

What a treat to meet Athan, and to see Bobby and Ben again. Great to play host to our out of town guest and good friend Oliver.

NOTE to Franco: sorry Lucky wasn't in town this weekend so we were unable to deliver your message.

Big thanks to BGP for the party favors and the reservations.

And a Big thank you to Tony and the crew at Numbers for accommodating our growing members....wait that didn't cum out right. Well, anyway, it was fun to see everyone. We must do this again. I bring extra blue food coloring for SAdler.

>Thanks to the organizers and welcome to the new attendees.

>I especially liked the seating chart.

>Nothing wrong with Bobby Thompson on my left and luscious

>Athan on my right. :9 :9 :9

I totally agree that it was a fun evening. And it was a pleasure meeting the out of towner and also a new LA Hoovillan.

Now, about the seating arrangements :D ... where was your hands all evening long :7 and don't forget the kiss you planted on one of those boys after dinner .... HOT HOT HOT }( }( }(

"Out of Town Visitor" says "Thank You"

Dear All -

First, to James - for setting the date so I could be there (and your secretarial and treasury skills), as well as a great dinner companion

To BGP - for making the arrangements and the surprise door-prize, (and wonderful to see you again)

To Barr1965 and funseeker for welcoming me to the group

To Epigonos - for your warm welcome to a compatriot and new friend (I perceive)

To all four of our guests - for your youth and vitality

Especially to jackhammer - for being a good friend and witty, compassionate man

To all of you, I say “Thank You” for making a visitor from Ohio feel warmly welcomed (it IS February there). It was a pleasure to see all of you and in such a convivial atmosphere.
