Sadly, no. For some reason, New Orleans seems to be devoid of quality escorts until big events come to town like Decadence or Mardi Gras. The guys you are looking for dance at Oz but they don't escort on the side. They will, however, take all of your tip money and lead you on until they disappear at the end of the night. Your only other option is Corner Pocket but you will not find a fitness model type there to save your life.

I found Corner Pocket fairly dreadful and someone scary at times.

It's not a big city, but there are constantly big conventions in town, and a revolving door of tourists, all with ready cash. It also, historically has been a gay bastion for generations, since the 1920s/30s. Quel dommage.

I understand your point, I also wonder a lot of things that make no sense to me... As liberal as I'm I've always believed in the invisible hand of the market. If Nola doesn't have more escorts is because they have decided NOT to live there or to visit as little as possible.

New Orleans will be hosting the NBA ALLSTAR festivities Feb 17-19th (this weekend).

Sorry about your experiences; I have had some awesome times with local New Orleanians, all of whom were sweet, sensual, and real (no BS/games). And at reasonable rates. And on most weekends, there are several visitors listed on R/M, especially on special occasions. I made my first of two planned February nola visits this past weekend. I had planned on contacting one of two guys I've had my eyes on for a while, but just wasn't feelin it by the time I had checked in my hotel. I agree that the really desirable guys per escort sites are few and far between in nola. You'd think that there would be more in a city like new orleans. But if I were a bit less paranoid and more confident in my street smarts, I would have gone home with any of the three hotties (rough types that I unfortunately have a thing for) who propositioned me late night at the corner pocket.
