I bought it from TLA Video, watched it and was ighly disappointed. The two main characters were hotties and we got a few cock shots but the movie, on a whole, sucked. Good premise, bad plot and the end came out of nowhere.

Welllll-I would like to watch it -but netflix has labled it porn!Nevermind all the film festivals and the long run it had at art house in LA.

But they have ROMANCE a very explicit film with Rocco Fettucini(or what ever his name is-straigt ish italian porn stud)

I have voiced my displeasure-but the folks in Rhumbastam(whatever)just do not understand!

I want to see this, but haven't yet.

As to the Netflix issue, I'm moving to a new place soon and am planning to get on one of these rent-by-mail services since the movie selection isn't that great around here, and I like the flexibility they offer. I was planning to go with Netflix, but I've noticed as for my taste, Blockbuster Online seems to have a lot more selection, including (apparently) Sugar. I looked up a bunch of gay and harder-to-find DVD's, and Blockbuster had like...4 out of 5 whereas Netflix had about 1 out of 5 - lol. (And usually it was the one Blockbuster didn't...go figure.) But Blockbuster does have a special e-mail for requesting they add a DVD you're looking for. I'm thinking I'll definitely be going with them because of that instead of Netflix, so maybe something you might wish to consider. They're a bit cheaper too, but I don't know how good their service is since I've never used them. I'd assume fine since they are a well-known and well-established company.

I saw it at the gay film festival and thought it was great. It was written by Todd Klink, an escort in Toronto who also writes a weekly column on escorting for the gay paper there. Of course it does not portray escorting as the fantasy I'd often wish it were-- beautiful guys enjoying great sex and great friendships with their patrons. But I think its portrayl of a street hustler's life is pretty realistic. For everyone, myself included, who wish for a return to the days when tons of hot hustlers hung out on certain street corners, its a good reminders of how difficult many of those guys lives were.

And Andre Noble is adorable. Unfortunately he died just as the film was being released from eating poison mushrooms.
