Often. Rarely anything that would win a screenwriting Oscar, but I have long preferred some setup and situation in my porn as opposed to just diving right in. "Sailor in the Wild", back in the early 80's, remains one of my favorites.

I was being facetious.

 

Some set up is nice but since most porn performers can't act very well, the set up usually detracts from the movie. It works best (at least for me) when it's mostly nonverbal.

 

There is one ridiculous series on men.com where the set up is basically:

 

Older man: Son, money is tight so I'm gonna have to whore you out to some older gentlemen.

Younger man: Sure, dad. Let me know when he gets here.

 

With a plot like that.....
