Only because the Daddy's reviewer mentioned GPS several times with regards to TH's supposed location, I just wanted to say that I don't think that is reliable. I have had an experience wherein my home location reflects one city while at the same time a prospective client has sent me a screenshot from his phone listing me in another (the city I was preparing to travel to later that week, reflected in my RM travel ad). But I wasn't there yet and that city was not even in the same time zone.

There may or may not be a tech issue there. And my circumstance sounds different than what TH's perhaps was based upon the review narrative. And clearly there were other things going on there. Hope TH is okay. Even forum "regular" @azdr0710 "vouched" for him/wrote a positive Daddy's review (TH's first at that site).

(P.S. - Sorry to hear about the sucky--in the bad sense--experience this client had. Hopefully it will get, um, straightened.)

When an escort schedule his trips in his Rentmen profile, the website lists him in all the cities included in the schedule, not only in his current location. You have to check the dates in the schedule to know where he is.

Maybe the poster used the "Near me" option, which tells you how many miles away the escort was last time he logged in.

Thanks, @latbear4blk.

I understand that I'm listed in search results for all cities I post a travel ad for. But this prospective sent me a screenshot of the escort-specific image one sees once you click on a particular guy's profile. In other words, it wasn't a list of search result hits. The site was 'geolocating' me in a city I was not in at the time.

Sorry for the off-topic discussion, gents.

Tryna do my part in returning the focus to the thread topic but, yes, Boomer--you are observant as always. :)

Please feel free to PM me should you (or anyone else) want more 411.

How many times do we have to keep telling these imbeciles to stop paying escorts in advance. $750 deposit for an overnight, I have never heard of such a thing.

The old story, don't pay money up front!

Although the amount asked for in this specific scenario is just one of many things that are questionable, generally speaking I think there are circumstances (e.g., first time client?, total cost of booking?, traveling to the client?, overall impression of client/tedious booking?) in which it is entirely appropriate to ask for a reasonable deposit.

this might(?) be the first time I've seen a no-show review published at Daddy's in the review section.....I think the policy is to handle these on a case-by-case basis for publishing, but am glad this was put up by Daddy.....a good warning/caution that applies to all escort meetings.....

the first Daddy's review of "TH" is mine....November of 2015.....he'd been in the "business" for one month and I had a very successful meeting together with him and another dude we both knew....with no prior reviews, I wanted to promote him.....we had some honest chat then and he admitted some of his current situation to me....we also had a couple or three communications in the couple months after our meet....by the way, he is NOT at all 100% straight, no matter how you define it....

this one year of escorting has certainly been life in the fast lane for him, I'm afraid to say....a couple or so other forum members have written me about TH successes and disappointments.....easy money, glamorous travel, drug-using clients, complicated scheduling, failed sugar-daddy deals, the whole bit caught up to him......yes, ultimately, we all have to take responsibility for our own actions.....

based on what he told me and what I later heard, I don't think TH will be back around soon.....I hate to see decent people mess up......

Perhaps I am just biased but I am always suspicious of rent men who advertise as straight.

To put it mildly, this is a perennial source of varied opinions. YMM def V. Generally speaking, I think how the escort performs is/should be more important than how he labels himself or how a (prospective) client feels about that label. Having said that, in this particular case . . .

....by the way, he is NOT at all 100% straight, no matter how you define it....

. . . I recall TH said plainly in his profile that he 'has experience with men and experience with women.' He mentioned that he bottoms for overnight clients (not unlike another popular escort who may or may not be today's [West Coast] RMOtD). Take it or leave it but IMO that can be seen as smart hustle.

Yes this looks like meth etc. I have seen this a few times now where a great escorts unravels and becomes unreliable etc. I have lost so many of my faves who go from almost friend to ripping me off. Glad to be warned here as he was high on my list. Although last convo we had was odd so I was already getting concerned. Blu

Y'all can be very harsh. The reviewer is an "old fool" and an "imbecile." The escort is nothing more than a rip off meth head. Are you all so cynical and suspicious that you've never done something out of kindness that backfired on you? Have you never known someone who had a drug problem that got out of control? (especialy meth) I've been in both situations.

Yes, someone's good nature or naivete was taken advantage of. Yes, an escort seems to have spiraled out of control and probably didn't have the $750 to give back even if he wanted to.

The reviewer did a stand-up thing by warning the group. If it's true that TH is battling a drug problem, it's definitely best to stay away, but everyone is worth a little empathy. It's a sad situation all around.

I will now jump off my soapbox and go back to looking for dick pics. o_O

We don't know the reviewer... let's keep it classy and just say that even though he met the escort before he should have never send half of the escort's fee upfront. It's common to send a booking fee for an overnight to show you're interested and make sure the escorts knows the trip will be worth it.

I'm glad you said it!

What else could force a straight guy to have sex with old men like most of us are... What would make gays like us fuck old women for money?

This guy always gave me a bad vibe for some reason. Plus I always though it presumptuous of him to call himself a "Trophy Husband" when his looks and background truly didn't merit it. Yes I know beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, but also some maybe just have low standards. It's truly a shame for anybody to be scammed and a lot of these men prey on us older men.

This thread has gotten a bite overdone! One thing is simple---either TH did or did not "steal" $750. That is the bottom line!!!

I'm sorry this client was ripped off and I'm sorry it appears TH's life has hit a rough patch. My experience with him about a year ago was terrible. It was my first time hiring and I learned a great deal. I'm still alive, healthy, and more knowledgeable. Progress moves forward but not in a straight line. While I've forgiven him, I have not forgotten. May he learn from his mistakes and grow.
