Hey guys this is more a heads up for those in central and pacific time. 24 begins its 4th season tonight at 8pm with the first two hours then two more hours tomorrow evening.

For those who might not know the Fox show format it takes place in real time so the total of 24 episodes will equal one day. It is great to watch a show when someone says it will take me 30 minutes to get there .. actually take 30 minutes.

Caught the show last night. My first time to watch. Really enjoyed it - think I may be hooked. And I agree - the Driscol woman is highly suspect! Were the previous seasons this good?

Yes, the previous 3 seasons were just as good. Season 1 was so unique at the time it probably stands as the best. I felt season 3 eclipsed season 2 slightly.

Don't get too set on pointing fingers toward who you think is good and who is bad. The show is famous for putting a million twists and turns in each episode that do not seem like much at the time but somehow they connect the dots as the episodes move forward.

Tonight will be the next two hours.

MI-5 Far Better

I have watched a few episodes of the show each season. I don't watch more than that because I find the quality to be extremely uneven. Some of the scenes in a given episode have an intensity rarely seen on network television, while others are incredibly silly. The "Perils of Pauline" - like experiences of Jack Bauer's wife and daughter in the first two seasons were so absurd that they quite drained away whatever suspense the other plot elements produced.

A show that is of far more consistent quality (and far better acted) is MI-5, a British import that has just begun a new season on A&E. Check your local listings for times.

Jack's wife died in the first season. But I do acknowledge that like any fantasy series a few of the senarios were a strech.

"24" has gone done hill: It's become a daytime soap opera with all the boo-hooing.

Far & away best show now is "The Shield" on FX on Tuesday nights.:9 :p }(
