Supergirl, new Kryptonian character

There's a new "mystery" Kryptonian on Supergirl. So far, he hasn't had any lines and he's just been in a coma. Shirtless, with a bit of chest and belly fur. Anybody know who's playing him? I don't see anything obvious in the credits. I've been replaying those scenes a lot :-)

I believe that is Chris Wood, better known for his role in Vampire Diaries. If it is him, check

him out in Containment, where he plays a cop. He wears some uniforms holding in that

tight butt and muscular chest. Mmmmm.

hmmm...I was wondering if it would be Mon-El. I have no idea if he's still a significant characters in the comics, but I remember him from the early 70's when I was reading the Legion of Superheroes comic, particularly "The Death of Mon-El" which had a shower scene with him. I remember finding it on the internet a few months ago, but not having any luck today.

Being that this is Chris Wood's fourthTV series and he has already done theater, I'm expecting he will be doing some big screen work soon....hopefully something in 3D with lots of bare chested scenes and close ups.

Looks like a lot of his previous work required chest-shaving. Either that, or he's a late bloomer. Either way, I hope Supergirl doesn't succumb to shaving his chest.

Chris Wood had a small role in one episode of "Girls" called "Beach House", which aired in 2014. He played a gay friend of Andrew Rannells' character Elijah. As I remember it, there was a scene in which Mr. Wood flashed his lovely bum.

Yup, from last night's episode, it's definitely Mon-El, and he's found a shirt. No reason to watch any more :-P

It's the CW I'm sure they'll figure out it's best to get him out of it once in a while. It was kind of stupid they called him Mon-El. In the comics, that was a name Superboy made up for him when he arrived on earth with no memories and they assumed he was Kryptonian. His name is Lar Gand. [/nerd]

I really wish they'd have Lynda Carter be an older Wonder Woman from another earth in the multiverse(in some incarnations she gave up her immortality-but not her other powers - to marry Steve Trevor).
