It's funny you mention that. I've spent some time in Boston, and met lots of 'Irish' Americans, some third or fourth generation, who are incredibly proud of their Irish heritage. By contrast my maternal grandparents were Irish, and thus I'm entitled to citizenship (which I am about to gain), but I have never considered myself to be anything other than Scottish/British. I guess it's easy to take things for granted when they're on your doorstep.

You could do a market survey and determine if it makes economic sense to find a(n inexpensive) second kilt, just for such purposes? Not suggesting that the research would involve any use of your primary ... just asking questions ... :)

Maybe. Despite the whole thing being a Victorian marketing invention there is still a little part of me that hates anything but the full kilt outfit being worn, but that's utterly impractical for sex. :D
