Weird Dream-I Gave Birth!!

I just woke up from this about an hour ago. It must have been a c-section as I only remember having a vague abdominal pain in the dream. Then I was rushed away without ever even seeing the infant. I was taken somewhere to recover. I had to look at some whiteboard in my room to find out what I had and the infant's vital statistics. I was so happy to find out that I had had a boy-quite a good-sized one too. But I was already walking without pain in my room.

 

I was considering the name Joshua Michael. Even in my dream I was wondering if I should choose Joshua as it is/was the name of one of my favorite (now retired) escorts. My sister was in the room with me. I was waiting to see the baby. But we both seemed just as interested in figuring out a place to get some sub-sandwiches for lunch. I had just told her that Walmart seemed a safe place to buy subs as someone in the family had eaten them before without becoming ill.

 

Then I woke up all of a sudden due to the ringtone of some family texts originated by my mother. I was a bit saddened for a second to remember I wasn't actually a father although in reality it's better for all concerned that I never was. (Me not being a father almost makes me believe in a Higher Power/Divine Plan).

 

I hadn't really been thinking about being a parent before falling asleep this morning-my sleep was very fitful last night. I woke up around 2 AM and was up until around 4 AM when I dropped back to sleep. I guess the dream might have been triggered by all the discussion on @BasketBaller and @glennnn's recent threads.
