What exactly is a table shower?

I understood it to be like a massage parlor version of a sponge bath. One of my straight friends claims to have had one at a massage parlor in NYC where masseuse washed him (front and back) and then gave him an HE.

I think it's similar or the same as a Vichy Shower.

 

There's only one spa that I know of that has one....the Remède Spa at the St. Regis in Puerto Rico.

 

It's fucking amazing...in fact the entire spa there is pretty incredible.

 

Then again...I love water and being naked.....YMMV.

I had one at the Grand Wailea spa on Maui. The multiple mud/salt baths are cool, as well as the "cascading shower" with waterfall like pressure raining down on you! (Yes these pics are the ladies side, duplicated on men's side)

At MANTA SPA you lay on a table, while your masseur does a full body scrub ( scented, slightly abrasive soap). Depending on your choice of masseur you are likely to get a lot of attention to the butt and scrotum. After the scrub you are rinsed off with a warm handshower. Its very pleasant in the summer...but I find the room a little too chilly in the winter to really enjoy it.

"Vichy" showers are nice, as they have multiple shower heads covering you like rain water while laying on the table. That said....I actually prefer the hand shower as most technicians will give you a nice blast of warm water up your crack and under your balls....which feels nice after a "full release".
