For a first timer, I HIGHLY recommend you work with an actual professional who is knowledgeable, experienced and LISTENS to what YOU want and can guide you through the basics. For professional BDSM work the only pro I respect in NYC is Sir Kirk. https://rentmen.com/WhosNext

I agree with public... I have never hired Kirk, but I have seen him in action and have spoken with him and he knows his stuff. He toggles between NYC and Fort Lauderdale so you need to contact him to see when he will be in town. He does seem to be more of your body type as while he is defined he is not huge or overly muscular by my standards. Not a twink, but it might be difficult to find a younger individual who has been around the block. Kirk might just be the perfect compromise for you... IMHO.

You might try Bryan Knight - he is 6' 6" and difficult to say NO to. Especially when in leather with that black leather biker cap!

Likewise I have met Brian Knight, and he was wearing leather at the time so he certainly looks the part. However, I have not seen him in action as has Funguy. He is indeed huge so he might not be your type physically.

Ahh yes. Thank you Tuffpie. Good find. :)

MuscleTwink is a bottom, not a skilled TOP. If this is your first time around BDSM play, I will again HIGHLY reccommed you work with a SKILLED professional DOM. Not someone who kind/sorta knows how to top. Younger men are generally not experienced enough to be proficient with finding the right body language to provide the best first-timer experience. That said...MuscleTwink is one hell of a bottom...a real sexy cutie. But definitely a better sub, than DOM.

I've worked with Kirk a few times. He is EXTREMELY well versed in BDSM play. I can't stress enough, that when it comes to BONDAGE it's all about the SKILLS not the looks. Kirk may be older than you like but he's a very nice fit man, who takes care of himself and a VERY very NICE and trustworthy fellow. If he's not EXACTLY your cup of tea physically, ask for a hood ! ha

Hey Public... You said it as well as could be said! EXPERIENCE is the KEY TO SUCCESS in BDSM! Plus the other keywords are TRUSTWORTHINESS and RESPECT for limits. Add in being able to get into the sub's headspace so as to know how far to take him on his first ride so as to make it a good first experience. The ability to read body language. Those who have the experience often know just how far to take a sub so as to make the experience a SAFE and FUN time that would make one want to expand their horizons.

As I mentioned I think Kirk would be the perfect compromise for the OP!

FIRST-TIMERS often don't understand that BDSM play is quite different, and the mere visual connection to "your type" of guy, is completely secondary to the level of skill. If you're an experienced subbie ..any DOM will do including cuties who kinda/sorta get into it....but for a first timer it's SO important to have a mature man who KNOWS how to be careful with a newbie and take him through at a pace that will bring confidence to push further and further "into the dark side" of sexual pleasures.

Yes, the opening of Pandora's Box should be done carefully so that it is a pleasurable and eye opening experience that hopefully would make the newbie want to explore more of the scene. It is best to undersell the first time so as to make the first timer crave more, yet at the same time his limits should be pushed. It's a delicate balancing act that only a guy who has been around the block can pull off successfully.

The best advice for the the OP is to do his homework. I did so when I was ready to take the plunge and picked a guy who was not my perfect physical type. So I compromised as well. I based things solely on reviews as I did not know about this forum way back when. I made the perfect choice. He was caring, nurturing, giving, and a yet a task master all at the same time. He gave me the opportunity to cross the line beyond my limits. I declined that initial visit but it didn't take long before I had done it all and in a SAFE and SANE manner.

Damn! With any luck the OP will begin his journey across the River Styx into the dark side in a similar manner. I sincerely wish him luck!

I came to this site never imagining that I would even be interested in this side of things. Since then I have edged closer, I've chatted to a few people here (and my thanks to them, whether I end up hiring, or meeting them or not). I still don't know where I stand on all of this. Whether paid or not, I want to be able to talk about it with the man concerned, not just 'take it'. Ok, back into my box!

You need to ignore your inclination toward the perfect visual and meet up with Sir Kirk. He may be older than you like, but he's fit, responsible, reliable and most of all EXPERIENCED. Which is what you need to explore. Once you earn your bondage sub "stripes", you can try out some of the less experienced young hotties. ( not that there ARE many of those in the BDSM world of tops)

@Public_Assistance: What do you think of Mike Masters for a (light) BDSM newbie? His reviews are impressive? (PM me if need be.)

I don't know Mike, nor have I ever spoken to him...so can't help you with an opinion. I can suggest that newbies visit the New York Bondage Club for some basics and to meet like minded men. You could get a reference there from the regulars who might be able to hook you up with the perfect BDSM pro. http://www.nybondageclub.com/

I have seen Mike Masters more than once. The last time was in about a year and a half ago. I really would not classify him as a BDSM specialist as I supplied virtually all of the equipment and he did not even attempt to use half of what I brought. He did supply an Hitachi Magic Wand stimulator, but that was about it.

He is a nice guy and a smart individual. He is huge and was in a hairy mode when I saw him. I would classify him as more of a dominant top sort of guy. For a newbie who would want a taste of what the scene might have to offer it probably would work, but he is definitely not in the same league as the above mentioned Kirk. So if one is looking for a true BDSM professional who would be a guru and teacher to guide you with the intention of expanding your horizons I would look elsewhere. As I said he is a nice guy and tries to please. So in the final analysis I guess it all depends on what one is looking for and how involved one might eventually want to get.

I concur regarding the NYBC if only to observe the first time that you attend.

For the guy with interest and no experience....WATCH and LEARN at NYBC and then HIRE Sir Kirk when you're ready to rock. https://rentmen.com/WhosNext

sexy and young........not sure what to make of this. https://rentmen.com/MGarrett

I am not sure what to make of this either. The only price he quotes that I could find is $150 for what I assume is a "massage" rate. I doubt that the average guy would want a "massage" with a single tail whip. He lists himself as a "masseur in NYC", yet does mention that he is available for both "escort and bodywork".

That takes me to the equipment shown in his photos. All the floggers hanging on the wall seem to be of a high quality. There are also a number of quite lethal single tail accoutrements on display as well. He is shown wielding such a tool in one pic. He also appears to have quite a collection of restraints. In addition he has the requisite leather outfits and is wearing the arm band on the right... or rather the correct (that is the left side) to indicate that he is a top. I would assume that anyone who has such a collection of toys would know how to use them. However, I would be very leery of anyone using a single tail whip until proven otherwise. Incidentally the toys on display indicate quite a $$$ investment.

Finally something about the guy has a déjà vu aspect about him, yet I can't place him. He is far from my ideal physical type. I prefer guys with a bit more more meat on their bones. His age at only 25 (if true) would be a concern as well as I find many in that age group to be half baked, but at times they can surprise you. In the world of BDSM older is usually safer and saner.
