I've made this comment before, but it seems germane to this thread.

 

Eight inches seems to be the default choice when placing an ad on Rent.men or other sites. I find it is rarely an accurate description of reality. My rule of thumb is to subtract 1.5 inches from the advertised size to arrive at an accurate measurement. I take more seriously escorts who describe their endowment as 7.5 or 8.5 inches. Generally that means they have an honest 7 or an honest 8 which in either case ain't bad. Anyway, what's half an inch among friends?

 

Additionally, the body to which the member is attached can make it seem larger or smaller, both in pictures and in person, cock size being relative to the nature of the total package which includes height, weight, musculature, facial beauty and, yes, personality!

 

And with ad pictures there is always camera angle and of course Photoshop!

I usually subtract two inches -- every 8" dick I have seen turns out to be the same as mine and I am average!

Two thoughts:

1) I don't agree with your first premise that muscle guys are the prevalent recommendations on these forum

2) I do find that muscle guys often aren't as hung as others. Not sure this is a valid observation over the universe of bodybuilder types but I've experienced it. Also - they don't seem to be "bottoms" as often as not, although there ARE plenty of discreet bottoms bodybuilders

I've never sent an escort away for misstating his size, but size matters to me. I don't repeat if an escort blatantly misrepresents his appearance in any significant way.
