What a wonderful and enjoyable play. We had tickets on the 3rd row and dead center. It was amazing being that close to everything. Randy still looks fantastic and it's hard to believe he's going to be 39 in November. Since QAF he's added a very large tattoo on his left shoulder and arm. Although it was covered in make-up for the performance, it was slightly visible when I saw him close up.

He has a great and very strong singing voice and was perfect in that role.

Here's a couples of pictures from the play.

SPOILER ALERTS!!!

At the end of the first act he drops his drawers and shows the audience his totally naked ass with a swastika on his right cheek. His ass is just as beautiful and perfect as when he was on QAF.

At the end of the play he is shown in internment camp clothes with a pink triangle. Seeing him being killed was a very moving experience for me.

he's doing a carbon copy of what alan cumming did. not that that is bad, but it is what it is

Sometimes this is what replacements are asked to do, unfortunately. It may not be Harrison's fault.

Though it wasn't spun this way when it happened, Henry Goodman, who had the impossible task of replacing Nathan Lane in The Producers, was fired for - yes - not imitating Lane's quirky performance. Brad Oscar was more willing to become a surrogate Lane, and he went on to do the role instead, as a carbon copy of Lane.

I saw this in San Diego. It closed yesterday. And it is part of a traveling company. I believe it is part of the Broadway Across America series.

Saw opening night in Los Angeles (Pantages) in July. I've seen Allen C and a few others on tour and Broadway but the performance Randy Harrison gave takes the cake. I never cared much for him on QAF (don't hate me) but he is a STAR in this role and in this production. I was surprised he had the chops to pull it off and boy did he do it for me! He's also the sexiest Emcee ever. Get your tickets just to watch this guy work! Rest of the cast and production in general very good too but Randy GIVES you "Cabaret" with passion!
