His first statement will be key as well - if he owns up or tries to take the victim route. This isn't about him anymore, it's what he did to the contestants, Lance and the hetero-romantic archetype storyline the show was trying to pass off as telling.

 

If he had started out on Real Houseboys of Miami, none of this would matter as much and he'd still be on the heteronormative Red Carpet. Totally agree with EyesOpen -- the legal framing of issues and statements is evident. But also noticed the kind of excitement that controversy creates shines through that Wrap piece. I can't stand these silly dating "reality" shows -- they are anything but reality -- but think it will be really interesting to foll0w the messaging as legal, money, celebrity/fame drivers are shaped by pundits, activists and just plain folks. Its such an interesting time to be gay!

I will want to be a fly on the wall in the event Sepulveda is deposed in any litigation. Doubtlessly, they will fry him up as I prefer my breakfast bacon, well-done and crisp.

We have witnessed segregation, abandonment and now killing of gay people in the hand of Isis simply because being gay is not ideal to those who hate us. I want my critics to know that there is no ideal. The only universal ideal is to love, accept and stand with each other against intolerance and hate. No one really cares about the sex work. It's that that's pretty much all there is to him. His "activism" is simply what most citizens do - help pets, try to get involved, raise money here and there. You don't get extra credit for basic involvement, and that's all he's done.

 

His lying and hiding, hurting people and not being sorry for it (Note that nowhere anywhere is there mention, gratitude or apology to Logo, the show or the contestants) and stratospheric narcissism is what has people pissed off.

The Georgia Secretary of State's corporations website shows a dissolution order on Rainbow Crosswalks that takes effect in 3 weeks. According to the state site, that means they didn't file statements or lost good standing with the state at least 90 days ago. Search "Georgia corporations" and you'll see the site and can look it up, including his address and partners in the org. It's all public information.

 

Funny thought - I bet if you google the street view of his address, he'll be in the picture!

Nothing not to be curmudgeonly on this story. I've heard from an industry reporter that Logo and/or Sepulveda's attorneys aren't letting him speak to press or publicists and are only offering contestants for interviews - shame on them for offering innocents to address these issues.
