I think anybody would have a hard time getting fat eating raw oysters. Bacon - now that's another story. The culture has developed a fascination with bacon and fatty cuts of pork, like pork belly. Paleo devotees swear that bacon is even good for you.

When I made my post, I was half way reading this long thread. There were a lot of thoughts going for and against the OP's reaction to the event.

 

There was no malice intended when I offered my opinion to a thread that is still active.

 

If I had gone to the end of the five pages of this thread, I would not have responded.
