From what I've read in threads from years past, I would gather that you're .....older than 50. But (and this is a huge butt), you have more spirit, energy, and youthful personality than I have at 35. So you are quite remarkable.

 

Most of the people I know over 70 don't even know how to turn on a computer. You've managed not only to turn it on, but also to project your beautiful self all over the world with the click of a button.

  • A ninty year old Aunt, who made me learn my ten-generation patriarchal lineage last time I saw her. I think she's in the DAR.
  • A Cousin, a midwife who has spent ten years teaching various vaginoses.
  • He Husband, who is an OB-GYN
  • My Sister, the Romance Lsngiage PhD from Princeton;
  • And Me, a retired Anesthesiologist.

You can only imagine what the conversations were like. We ended the evening by going to the Northern Tip of Martha's Vineyard and watching the sun set over Cape Cod.

Well it seems that you indeed are having a very HAPPY BIG BIRTHDAY!!! I base this on the amount of typos in your previous post. And yes I being the "king if typos" (make that King OF typos!) notice such things! With any luck the bubbly is flowing and you are enjoying to the max. I'll bet there will soon be a local fireworks display to add to your special celebrations!!! May they continue all weekend!!! :D

 

PS: But kudos... as you got anesthesiologist right!!!! ;)

Wow, we come from different planets. ;)

 

My family is full of lower class, conservative Christian people. Conversations revolve around the Bible, church, and related topics. Many are unemployed, or disabled... my dad's a retired truck driver who maybe brought home $35,000 in his best year.

 

I like your version of life better. Can we trade for a day?

THANK YOU ALL, GENTLEMEN AND LADIES!

 

My sister partially redeemed herself by arranging a two-hour cruise on a catamaran. In the final 75 feet from the walkway to the pier to the boat, the Weather decided to be nasty. It went from drip-drip to downpour. By the time I got on board, I was soaked through, except for my underwear. The eye candy made up for it. Still, no birthday cake.

 

The Answer - Not to Life, the Universe, and Everything - is 65. I'm still trying to grasp that I:

  1. Am that old
  2. Made it this far

I'm told, by my Personal trainer and my housemate, that I"m going to get to 90 without problem. That's 25 years ... which I did:

  • From Birth to medical school
  • From first job to medical disaster
  • From College to mid-Medical Career.

to one of the good guys around here, enjoy your day......gotta say that when I see one of your posts, I know it's going to be a good one.....

I'm much better. I'm going to try to join the West Chop Club, on the Northern Tip of Martha's Vineyard, so I have access to the Inn without having to sponge off of my fraternity brother.

It's a quaint club: I met Mrs. Hirshhorn, of the Hirshhorn Gallery at the Smithsonian once. Also Mrs. Gillette.

 

It would be nice to own a cottage here, but they run for >1,500,000 to 11,000,000, so I think that's a tad out of my range, until I win the lottery.
