With enough notice, I would consider a trip to the big city to attend. I haven't been up yonder in a mighty long time. I would need one of yall to hold my hand and keep me safe. :D

 

I am sure there will be several offers to hold a different "appendage" ? :D

Awesome! I love the Dish and it's right around the corner from my house. I also know the owner - my boyfriend and I and his parents eat there often. I'm going to PM you to discuss options!

I like the idea of dinner in a pvt area of a restaurant... I would be very surprised if the cost of a meal would discourage someone from attending.

 

Shocking ! You guys spend $300 hr on a hire, but are discussing the price of a meal as being prohibitive to a meat-n-greet ?

Hmmm....let's work the math.

 

Assume an escort rate of $300 per hour.

 

There are 12 five minute increments in one hour.

 

$300 divided by 12 = $25 rate for five minute speed date with an escort.

 

$25 is about the cost of a moderately priced meal at a decent restaurant. (The cheapskates can order from the kids menu or just have an appetizer and pay for themselves.)

 

If the speed dating concept is implemented then I suggest everyone bring plenty of cash in small denominations.

Always looking for a reason to get to NYC. And, to meet hot men. I'm in.

 

Dinner sounds lovely, but I'm thinking of a venue that allows for more mingling and the ability for people to come and go at their leisure

 

Totally agree. Went to a DC event and loved it, except once everyone settled in for lunch it was very difficult to meet those not at your table.

I love visiting NYC! Broadway, CP, The Village, Hells Kitchen, Chelsea and lets not forget 550 Rentmen! Something for everyone!

 

I would love to attend if posted in advance so I can make plans. No better time to visit than the Autumn in the NYC!

Regarding selecting a date, if it need be Autumn remember to avoid certain events. As an example the opening of the UN General Assembly is September 13 this year. For those coming from out of town hotel availability and prices can be at a premium during certain time frames. Actually most NYC hotel rates are reasonable during the summer months and often in late August just prior to Labor Day and tend to increase after that date. However, first we need to pick a date that will work for the majority and see who will be coming from a distance as opposed to making it into the City for just a day.

 

Not being cheap here! Ask any escort who visits the City about hotel rates and how it can often not make visiting worth their while! As an example I recently made plans for the MET in NYC. I picked the performance date where I was able to get the most reasonably priced hotel room.

Hopefully a meet up won't get sidetracked by analysis paralysis... searching for the perfect date, perfect time, perfect place, etc. to make everyone happy.

 

Just have a pot luck supper, and everyone just show up on the Great Lawn at Central Park !
