my comment was facetious since I knew you would latch onto any negative comment sent your way and believe the person making it was part of this "clique" you claim exists. I was hoping you would see the humor in it. Apparently not...

 

Look Kirkwood, I tried to apologize yesterday as noted in the above quote but never got a fucking thing from you because you're always trying to demean anyone on here that has a goddamn difference of opinion from you.

 

I asked for your forgiveness and NOTHING CAME FROM THAT. I guess you don't respond to acquiescence only argument. And that's damn fucking fine.

All I'm saying to you philly, is grow up and be the adult that you are. You seem to want to be treated with kid gloves, and are most likely looking for something you dont get at home. Sorry you are not getting "special" treatment here. Acceptance DOES NOT MEAN that people will always agree with you. You need to accept the fact the people may often DISAGREE, but that doesnt mean they dont wanna hear what you have to say. I dont recall ever saying you are a bad boy. You like to put words in peoples mouths. Perhaps that makes you feel better. That's fine, but you need to grow up man... Your introduction to the site was criticism of it and its members.... And you expected to be embraced after THAT ? Did you want the members to bake you a bundt cake ?

In your previous post to me when you asked to forget the whole thing, I agreed and forgot it. I didnt feel it needed yet another reply. But every post you make is a condescending remark of dismissal, not only to me, but the other members. You can navigate yourself thru this process anyway you see fit, but any communication between you and I has just ended. I dont do well with high maintenance people that constantly need reassurance. Good luck buddy !

I guess it's not gonna happen and given the nature of discussion here doesn't sound like it would be worth going to anyway.

Come on, LA, do not lose hope because some girls got into a cat fight. I understand we have a designated planner who graciously offered his time and talent to put this event together. Let's wait for his decisions. If the chosen date is compatible with my schedule, I would love to return to NYC to meet some folks over there.

You both need to stop this back and forth sniping right now. It's reprehensible that you have taken over this thread and made it about yourselves. GET A ROOM!!! Or take this dispute between you to private messages.

 

Please cease and desist from forcing the rest of us to suffer your petty childish behavior. This thread is SUPPOSED to be about a community gathering in NYC and NOT YOUR BULLSHIT.

 

If I were in management around here you'd both be banned for a month. Just stop it and let us get back to the subject on this thread.

Formal fancy dinners dont impress me one bit. The ones I've been to are usually stuffy, reserved and uncomfortable... plus the portions are extremely small... Always needed to grab a burger after leaving them.

 

That reminds me of a story from when I was little... my mother used to love to throw formal dinner parties and one night my parents had guests and as the server was removing the centerpiece, she spilled water over the table and one of the guests... my mother was mortified and there was a bit of confusion while they mopped up the water... Once they got everything back in order, the server, every contrite, apologized to the guest and he responded by saying... "Thank God you spilled the water, now we can all relax" and he winked at her. Everyone burst out laughing, including my mother and it ended up being a legendary dinner party that people (those that are still alive) still talk about today, 40 years later. After that, the parties were much less formal and apparently a lot more fun. Formal is all too often stuffy and boring...

This meeting sounds actually funner than I thought it would be. I can't find anything better than drink throwing and wig pulling all in a formal setting, count me on coming and will bring a bag of popcorn to enjoy the show :p

 

If all the fighting on the forum is the same as in person, I want a front seat to the action :D:p
