On Trend - The "Samurai"

As the resident Fashion guru, it's my goal to keep you updated on the latest Male Trends. We all know the "Man Bun" . Well it came and went, IMO simply because of the name. Guys were reluctant to embrace it because the name seemed a bit too feminine. Some wise-guy took it and ran with it, and renamed it "Samurai-Do", and its raging again.... Do you have the hair and the Balls to embrace your inner Samurai ?

There's a young guy at work who sports one of these, and maybe it's my age showing, but he just looks goofy.

The guys I'm attracted to have short hair (or no hair). I find the man bun / top knot / samurai do looks messy and incredibly unsexy. I always say you know how much hair to cut off - it's whatever you can gather and put in some kind of hair device.

On the contrary @erichassan. I find it Incredibly sexy, easy breezy and laid back (although it does take effort to get it just right)... I love during sex when guys take off the elastic band and shake it loose.. (So, I've heard, wink-wink). Every generation needs some styles that define it. Seems like a lot of guys that have longish hair are giving it a whirl. And oddly enough, it is a favored "Do" of personal trainers.... (guess it kinda makes sense when you are all Sweaty) ?

I tried the long on top shorter on the side for a while. It didn't look bad when I took the time to get it right, but then I saw a picture of myself taken in the morning BEFORE I'd had a chance to tend to it, and I went back to my usual cut the next time I had it cut.

Never cared for the bun or ponytail on men. Maybe if I had more hair I would feel differently.

If you're young and cute you can get away with anything. But there comes a point where reality strikes. Everyone should have a full length mirror and a good friend who will tell you the truth.

Yes Master , this grasshopper has embraced my inner Samurai. Well...kinda...mostly because FL is hot---DAMMMMMN INFERNO DAMNATION HOT.

 

When walking out for five mins the profuse sweat makes hair products turn to superglue. You have to forgo fashion and switch to Survivor mode. When you have non submissive cowlicks growing like horns in every direction, super short hair makes me look like Calvin and Hobbes on Meth. I like to keep it long on top shaved on the sides and back. When I get tired of dealing with people I just flip my bangs in my eyes and POOF I'm alone. Messy but effective.

 

Oh and one more thing..My man bun is named NEMO.

 

 

YUM, I bet alot of us would like to be "finding NEMO"..... ?
