I watched some US Olympic Team Trials this weekend and the boys and girls are all so amazing and beautiful. I especially enjoyed the men's diving and gymnastics competition. Did anyone else watch? Who are some of your favorites that you feel will do well in Rio? Who are your favorites that you feel would do well in your bed? I'm lusting after the whole men's gymnastic squad, but especially Jake Dalton and Chris Brooks. My main concern, however is that they stay healthy and safe in these perilous times.

Without a doubt, my favorite athletes headed to Rio are American gymnast, Danelle Leyva, and British diver, Jack Laugher. My wet dream is to have them both join me in bed: a trio of shorties - we are all 5'7 or less. ;) I do look forward to being surprised by foreign beauties who don't get as much media coverage

Unfortunately, Leyva didn't make the team this year. Chris Brooks, however, DoD, and he's a beauty.

I had no idea! Wow...I'm so bummed for him.:( I hope he gets to travel as a substitute

EDIT: I just love my forum buddies. Someone just texted me with this tidbit from the Miami Herald :)

Leyva was selected as one of three replacement athletes. That means he will train and travel with the team, and if anyone withdraws, he would have a chance of replacing them.

"It's bittersweet," he said.

Henrik Rummel, the American Olympic rower in 2012 said he wasn't erect. And that he doesn't know how it ended up in that position. ;)

Personally, I don't see why people get so worked about male athletes who bulge. I enjoy looking at it, but what do we expect? They're in their prime, the blood is flowing and they're in skin tight gear. I say enjoy the moment.

While watching gymnastics on TV a few weekends ago, I began to think TV ratings would be higher if the cameras weren't so often showing the guys after their performance (when back in the side lines) from the waist up only.

Except America has a large number of citizens who seem to fear any acknowledgement of physical sexual anatomy and if enough of those citizens complain to the FCC, a fine or two might be issued, which is something the networks wish to avoid.

I'd be fine if the Olympics returned to its roots and had athletes compete as purely as the day they were born. That would eliminate many of the technological advantages country's like the USA exploit AND provide a visual display for all those pervs among us while also normalizing display of the human body and ultimately helping to desensationalize nudity.

Or...#LOGOcoverage. RuPaul & Anderson Cooper as main event hosts!

British diver Tom Daly recently explained that the reason divers wear such small speedos was to keep things from flapping around. Because it could be painful.

When asked, tactfully, about boners on the medal stands he explained "that's why we wear track suits".

Let it fly, babe.

Well, since modern nutrition and our self-selecting breeding over the centuries since the start of the Olympics has led to an overall average increase in penis size, perhaps fully naked games are a stretch. Perhaps some kind of harness for those particularly gifted athletes.

I agree. And the harness would have to be custom fitted to insure proper support. Now there's a job I'd do for free.

Wait! Aren't we just talking about a jock strap?

So what's the history of the "athletic supporter"? How did men go from playing naked to wearing a device specific to put protecting their precious gonads? Is @LivingnLA right? Did we get bigger? Was it for modesty and produced by Victorian values? Was it truly to avoid injury? I never heard of any injuries. I know in my life it was REQUIRED in gym. There was even an alternate slightly lighter weight "swimmer's supporter" available, but it was not acceptable for the running, jumping, climbing, etc in gym.

Today, thousands of men exercise in just a pair of shorts....loose shorts God bless them. Just watch some track and field on TV; the freely swinging, bouncing cocks and balls are mesmerizing. High school guys play in gym with no more support than their boxers and still manage to get their girl friends pregnant. What's the deal, are jocks on their way out, other than as a fashion statement? Are they needed? Were they ever needed? Where did they come from? Do you wear one when exercising?
