The 3 a.m. email…a red flag?

It's the phone calls between 3 and 6 am that get to me. NEVER good news. Especially when I was on call.

 

For me it's between 7-9 in the morning, never good news & I am not a doctor

I am east coast based but my work accounts are all west coast based so for me it's working till 7pm/8pm then fielding emails till 11pm

Now in regards to escorts I have had sessions start at 1 am but nothing later

I have received texts from one party boy escort at 3am/4am but never reply till I am actually awake and sane in the morning!!!

.....not to mention those of us who are insomniacs and can't take ambien or lunesta due to previous incidents of sleep walking. So if I show up at your door at 3AM you'll know that I am neither a stalker nor a whacko. Just a regular fellow who sometimes, like right this very minute, is up at 3:15 AM perusing the forum.

I pay a little extra attention to emails sent at odd hours. Yes, the sender could be crazy or a tweaker, but he/she could be a really hard worker, somebody who's 'on' all the time, an eccentric artist or writer, who knows? I had a friend years ago who did the most amazing collages and constructions I have ever seen. He worshipped Louise Nevelson. He usually started work at 11:00PM or so, worked all night and went to bed when the sun came up.

 

I was working late this past Friday, and my office phone rang at nearly 8PM. I was going to ignore it, but decided to answer instead. I liked him after his hello - sexy and intelligent. I'm meeting with him later this week. I think there is a good possibility he is going to hire me for a lot of work. We'll see.
