It's nothing but a suggestion. I contacted him a couple of years ago and I decided NOT hiring him, unlike some guys on here I don't bargain, I just move on.

If some folks are paying 500 he should keep on charging that.

Have you ever hired someone for that much for 1 hour instead of 2?

Billy Brandt, but he stayed much longer because Billy had to wait for his girlfriend who was in local bar

I remember him!

Very hot Falcon star in the late 90's! I remember him charging 700 in 2005/6. I also hired a friend of him in Palm Springs.

I hired Billy in the Fall of 200. He was living in New Jersey with his sister then. I would have hired him again but he changed phones.

I helped him find his girlfriend and several others. I believe Billy was 21 years old.

He’s the only one who knows his own economic situation for good.

I can only say that if he wanted to lower his rate to 350 or 400 (which is what people usually pay for a famous porn star) he could keep his lifestyle make more money and even retire in the future. 500 seems too much nowadays.

He has lowered his rate to $400 since the virus scare. I do not know about the future, however.

Jacob has done porn?

No.

People do pay hundreds of dollars for meals at a Michelin 3* restaurant. Basically, it's for a memory which will stay with you forever (well, unless you get dementia). I don't regret a penny I paid for the encounter. I'm glad I lived to enjoy that. I hope I never forget the experience.

Agreed!

It was just a suggestion, others said he was charging too much, you could have quoted them too.

Btw I'm surprised a frequent poster known for bargaining somehow was the first one to "like" your post.

I'll keep your post and you in mind next time there's an entire thread about how much cheaper hiring SHOULD be after the pandemic. Some threads have become a race to the bottom to see who brags about having paid the least for company.

About his pricing -- the steep cost, not the intricate packaging of bulk time options: there's a balance that's not always put into practice. Lower prices (no so low as to suggest desperation or lack of quality and service) generates a steady if modest income. Higher prices result in fewer appointments but more profit per appointment. For an escort who does this as a compliment to an otherwise full career, fewer sessions at premium rates may be an ideal. Another analogy may be contract work versus a salaried position. In spurts, an independent contractor can make more than he would holding an in-house position, but the in-house position is a more steady and stable source of income.

I have no idea how many clients JacobTop wants or how many solicitations he gets that do or don't result in meetings. Perhaps he's charging too much, or perhaps it's working out fine for him. In the days before FOSTA/CESTA and the Rentboy witchhunt prosecution, when escorts advertised their rates, a higher hourly fee (usually with discounted rates for longer sessions) served a purpose for the escort. It allowed him to set a fee that would generate more or less inquiries and could filter out people who now inquire but consider the rate too high to pursue. And the higher rate with discounts for longer sessions also worked to cut down on the need to stack up appointments and all of the time/effort that goes in securing/arranging/travelling to and from, etc.

Huh?

Doesn't everyone bargain. I gave up once when someone I really wanted to hire for an overnight wouldn't budge at all from s very high price.

Many clients don’t accept the first meeting quote a provider states. That’s the client’s right, and it’s the provider’s right (and the client’s) to say “no thanks we aren’t a match” or suggest different compensation.

Discussing and agreeing upon compensation, time, etc is negotiating. Not “bargaining” or “haggling” but fairly normal practice.

It’s also been noted many, many times here in the forum that that full/high price does not equate to an excellent visit experience.

Actually, I don't negotiate much, so the two words pretty much mean the same to me

I notice he’s now blurring his face, why? It’s not like he’s gonna be getting star on the Hollywood walk of fame anytime soon.

Facial recognition software used by CBP.
