Frightening Experience... Advice Requested Please...

I've calmed down a lot about it - just waiting to test and get the hoped-for all-clear (which unfortunately takes 13 weeks). The most stressful time was trying to decide whether to do PEP or not, but I'm pretty comfortable I made the right decision there by not doing it.

 

The escort in question was kind enough to get tested, and he says he's all clear (and going to e-mail me a scanned copy of the results soon; he'd also mail them if I requested, but scanned is good enough for me - I do feel he's being truthful about it).

 

(And yes, I still do intend to post a review, but I'm waiting on that and also making sure it's balanced. He really has jumped through hoops to try to fix this as best he can, and I want to be able to say that in there as well.)

Just as an update, tested at 6 1/2 weeks (actually, it was closer to 7), and just got the results today - all clear! =o)

 

That and the escort assuring me his test results were also negative has pretty much convinced me I have nothing to worry about, and from what I understand, current testing is quite accurate at this period of time. Just thought some of you might want to know.

So glad that things turned out OK for you. I can only imagine what you went through and maybe now you can try to put this experience behind you (no pun intended).

 

Have you submitted the review yet? I've seen a rather recent one for the escort in question, but I'm quite sure it wasn't yours.

 

You will be doing a service to the community at large by posting this review.

 

Many users of this site don't subscribe to the message center and ONLY read the review section. (I have a good friend who visits NC regularly on business and relies on this site to pick companions. He doesn't read the MC but does read the reviews. I know he could gain something from hearing about this.)

 

Also it gives the escort an opportunity to reply and give his side of the story, if he so desires.

 

Nothing personal, but at this point, we only have one side of the story and could benefit from a more balanced viewpoint.

I wanted to get the test out of the way and give my head some time to settle down so I knew what I wanted to say (and also give him ample time to respond directly to me). I think at this point, it's been plenty of time. I'll go proofread and rework the review and submit by the end of this week. I already notified him I was going to submit something yesterday (I feel it's only fair).

 

EDIT: Actually, just submitted it. I sincerely hope it's as balanced as I intended it to be.
