I just finished renting the two discs of this beautiful story. While the subject was not new the way it was presented I thought was awesome. I thank Dave D for recommending it to me. Please see it or buy it or rent it. I got it from NetFlix and it is so easy with them. Hope to hear what others thought of it. HUGS Chuck

Angels in America was one of the best things I've seen on TV in ages. A beautiful story, beautifully told and presented. Just the sort of thing I would like to see more of on TV. Personally, I found it thought provoking on several levels.

Great stuff. Glad you watched it and enjoyed it.

This production is so good, I think every gay guy on the planet should own a copy.

Only think I am disappointed in is that the disks do not contain any additional commentary or material from Mike Nichols, the actors, etc/

Still, it is the best thing to come out for a long, long time.

For those who have Comcast for the next week or so you can view all six episodes for free with their on demand system.

Gay or not, I think this is a must view event for anyone who considers him or herself an educated individual in 21st Century America. I think most drama experts consider this the best play to come out of the nineties, and this cable production lacks none of the power of any stage presentation I've seen. Every single actor is superb, but Al Pacino and Mary Louise Parker are particularly good. Jeffry Wright, too.

So pack up the porn for one evening, and get off on the poetry and power of Angels in America....

Didn't Meryl Streep in accepting here Emmy that sometimes she didn't think she deserved her awards - but this time she did! Amen to that!:9
