I don't know who you are referring to, and wouldn't make excuses for them anyways, but before you start thinking it has something to do with you...

 

If they were traveling through your town, you may need to cut them just a little bit of extra slack. We all know they need to stack appointments to recoup the travel expense before they even start making a profit. Scheduling snafus are probably more likely with a traveling escort who has to balance enough time for each appointment and still get enough of them to make a profit.

 

You said in your first post that you plan to see him again. That must mean that it was pretty good even with a less than perfect ending. I'd meet him again to see if it's a pattern or a one-time thing before you start wondering if it was you.

I spoke with the escort involved and discovered that we had run past our allotted time. Not only was he gracious enough to let it go past, but it began to get close to his next appt (and I was oblivious to the time) so he needed to get ready and tried as gently as possible. I'm just a bit sensitive, so my apologies to the escort.
