Did you notice the new banners placed in the middle of each page, taking the whole screen? I cannot go through one page without having the Tommy Deluca banner at once, often twice. And his picture is Cree-py! AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHH

I did not notice the banners until you pointed them out.

He is referring to the "Congratulations on being RentMan of the day" threads. "RentMan of the Day" is "awarded" by paying a fee, which amounts to advertising. The banner ads plus the RentMan of the day could add up to twice the "Congratulations" threads when a Forum member does not realize the banner is a paid ad.

I use the mobile site mostly. I haven't been bothered by a lot of ads. Unless I've missed them that is. I don't look very frequently since I'm not really hiring.
