I hired Den recently, so here's a report back.

Stipulating that I have very limited experience, I was satisfied. He was easy to coordinate with by text, and in person he was professional if not super warm. His apartment and set-up are clean and even cozy. The massage is not in the all-time best I've ever had, but at the end I was pleased. Importantly, he was responsive when I directed him to certain spots and requested more pressure. The pre-Noon discount rate ($100) seems like a good deal to me.

 

The photos are 100% accurate. The guy is built like some sort of god. But as someone else pointed out on a different thread: he's beautiful, and he knows it. Maybe that was the hint of aloofness I was getting. I would say his two listing are technically correct in terms of what he offers, but don't try to read between the lines and hope for more. We also discussed a couple things via text beforehand, and he made good. But again, nothing more than what was either previously discussed or advertised.

 

Which I say not to his detriment; given how much people lie on these things, I have to give him credit for being accurate and straightforward about service and price. I guess I'd just caution others to manage expectations. I went in hoping for certain things based on the experience of others (as described in this forum). And maybe for other people or under different circumstances he is more interactive. But that was not my experience.

 

I'd like to go back to him, but want to try some other guys first. With more points of reference, I may revise my feedback on Den.

I've seen Den's photos circulating on tumblr (the guy is gorgeous) and it's a nice reminder of my massage with him. Thinking about trying to go back soon. But I did want to correct one thing from my previous review: he told me that he no longer offers the discounted morning rate. His rate is now $140 at all times for in-call.

I had a one and done experience with him a year ago. His personality is as cold as ice, his massage skills are average at best, and his ending is mechanical. No, not interactive regardless of how anyone interprets the term.

Bottom line, don’t waste your money and time and move on.

I haven't been back since I posted my review earlier this year. Which probably says something now that I think about it.

 

I gather that he is more interactive with some clients than others. My experience differed from @Gr8massage -- but I still haven't repeated. PM if you want to know more.

 

But yeah he is hot. The photos are very real, and he's even hotter in person.

"Den is extremely handsome with strong hands, a nice setup and great technique. The massage itself was wonderful.

The vibe however left much to be desired. He didn’t say much upon meeting so I was awkwardly navigating what to do. Beyond that, his phone kept going off, and at several points he had it in hand while massaging with the other. It left me on edge and not as relaxed as I could’ve been. It felt as though he wanted to be anywhere but where he was. If you’re just in search of a good rubdown he’s your guy."

The coldness is a mix of him being Eastern European/he knows he's very attractive so a lot of clients will give him a pass for mediocre service. He does have an amazing body (one of the better ones I've seen) and he knows it.

I have had two massages with Eastern European guys and those guys were cold. Also one of them (Alex) was straight and hated to do HE although he would do it. I have the feeling that Den is straight also and hence the coldness etc...

When I saw Den, he insisted he was from Finland, but sure knew the Russian I spoke! He is also a smoker, total turn-off.
