I'm just curious and wanted to do some in field research! (nerd emoji)

What do you consider a fair initial (first time meeting) rate?

Would you consider $250 for hour & half fair?

I think that is extremely fair. However, I'm not sure why there would be a distinction between an initial rate and a rate for a repeat session.

Depends on the escort and client. I myself would never pay $200 for an encounter that some clients gladly pay. I expect an escort to be fully present, engaging and sensual (in a sexual way).

This is true for me as well as other clients that I've discussed this with. The less I'm attracted to an escort, the more difficult I find to understand why anyone would pay them.

Thank you for answering my first question, may I ask a price range you typically look for?

Thank you for answering my first question as well, may you further elaborate ?

Sorry I only wanted to be exact :-)

$250/hour is my target expenditure, with perhaps a reduction for a second consecutive hour. However, I'm willing to go above that for an experienced, well-reviewed escort whose photos and online personality make my pants tight. What's 50 or 100 bucks more for a gourmet meal?

......may I ask a price range you typically look for?

Price and taste are funny things.

There are wines I'm pissed I spent $15 on....and there are ones I'm perfectly happy spending $900 on.

The price ranges aren't as extreme....but I feel the same way about escorts.

I appreciate the question.....you're a smart businessman to ask, but I think the devil is in the details....

What is your "local" market's going rate?

What are you offering that others aren't?

What do you think your "time" is worth?

How strong is the demand for your product?

Finding the "sweet spot" to some degree takes experimentation in any business.

Things I would suggest....

Think twice before raising your established rate with someone who is a good client and has been hiring you regularly.

Along that same line....treat good clients like the gold they are.

Aim high...you can always lower your rates....but raising them...is tricky.

Don't haggle. Your set rate is your rate.

If you need a concrete answer...

In NYC $200-350/hour.

There rest of the world?....less.

There's no way for me to know what value to place on your service.

I meant elaborate further on the first question, sorry I should have clarified. My first question is a general question not directly related to my service.

Will you be serving beverages and light refreshments for the fee ? If so, FAIR ! :p

Of course. I make bomb sandwiches when I'm home. Boar"s head meat and chese, sourdough toasted sliced bread, olive oil mayo, little bit of boar"s head spicy mustard, ugly tomato or green zebra tomato, very little white onion (the other onions have overpowering tastes), topped with either arugula or romaine lettuce.

On the bread you want to toast it in the oven @ 350 for 2-5 mins depending how big the slices are with brushed olive oil, black peppercorn and oregneo! I try not to add any more salt since the sliced meat is very salty and bad for you.

lol at gourmet meal :D

what would you pay for an all you can eat buffet then

I think that's called an overnight or maybe a weekend, and for the right guy I would pay the market price and stuff myself at both ends..... With his help, of course.

Well, I wouldn't lump SF into the "rest of the world" group. I have friends that are moving to NYC cause it's less expensive. :p

I find rates not to be high on the list of list of things I look at. If an ad (and provider's website) piques my interest, then I look further. A high rate (relative term for all) would discourage me. $250.00 for 90 minutes for someone who as piqued my interest is not a high rate in my book. At that point it just becomes a matter of logistics, opportunity, and timing.
