Since, entailing ZacItalianJock (or whatever the ever-changing handle, ever-changing city, ever-chaing phone number, etc. may be on any given hour), I provided my own observations on another post, I'd like to inquire on another New Orleans escort I find baffling (but have ignored for literally years now). Here's the link for the ad:

http://www.men4rentnow.com/gay/escort/male/massage/new_orleans/Tigers1188/236309

The ad hasn't changed at all in the DECADE or so it's been out there except that, for the first 3 years or so, the city was Baton Rouge rather than New Orleans. Hence, at a minimum, the "hot new model in the city" would certainly seem obsolete, huh? Other observations from the EARLY years (I've ignored the ad for about six years now):

1. Early on, a phone number existed in the ad. When Googled, ads such as seeking a roomate to share in expenses (viable for a university student which he likely was at the time, especially given the complex for the room he wanted to share is a known student-housing apartment complex) would surface, as would various miscellaneous items of merchandise (cars, NUMEROUS computer gadgets and games, etc.) would surface.

2. When I did try and make email contact (in those early years), I got ZILCH back. Nevertheless, moths after I sent the email, I was on the receiving end of an email blast saying nothing more than, "Hey guys, it's Tiger from M4R." That was IT! I'm figuring he was likely three sheets to the wind when that was sent out.

3. He has no reviews in over a decade, but I assume that's because M4RN offers the feature for escorts not to allow reviews (but it would seem odd that any serious escort would want that option).

Any chance anyone has hooked up with this young (or perhaps 30-something now since the ad has existed for a DECADE with no update to age, or "Hot New Model int he City" caption) escort, huh?

well he has been a me,bet since 2010 and he is only 21 so I guess he started when he was 15? but wouldn't that have been illegal for the site to take the ad? don't they have to verify that they are 18???

I suspect the ad is "dead" and he probably has a different ad up or is out of the business.

I've certainly viewed the ad as dead for years; however, I have always operated under the assumption that, if payment isn't made, M4RN removes the ad. Is my assumption flawed? If so, that explains everything!

Unfortunately M4RN has a reputation for not removing older and/or unpaid ads. They just remove the contact info...but keep the website looking full.

Unless you're warning us about him, why would you post this about him asking for information... let's just move on and wish him good luck.

They don't remove the ad but they keep sending email notifications to the escort telling him X number of guys emailed him but because he didn't pay/renew his monthly ad, he can't contact those clients back but as soon as he pays he'll get all those emails of potential clients.

and that's why they don't remove ads.

If I'd known what you've indicated about M4RN in terms of abandoned ads (which is disheartening to learn), I wouldn't have posted it. I've met with approximately 20 escorts either based in or traveling to New Orleans, and all but one resulted from M4RN ads (the one exception was A4A). Hence, I was baffled as to why someone would keep paying for an ad that seems to accomplish nothing, so I was curious as to whether anyone had actually met with him. With the benefit of your post on M4RN, I have the answer and the need for the original post is negated, and I concur in wishing him well and that M4RN would yank any such dead ads. I guess I'm fortunate that's the only one that I'm aware I've noticed.

We agree Men4rentnow needs to make a lot of changes, specially now after they got the wonderful opportunity of the Feds getting read of your competitor the late Rentboy.com
