Stayed there 3 years ago, and have gone there to see escorts. It's OK...Quiet and out of the way, centrally located, decent prices, and staff was very accommodating, but not walkable to WEHO or many restaurants and bars. As of 3 years ago, it was dated, and it just seems a bit odd, walking into a building selling itself as a hotel that obviously used to be an apartment complex. An escort told me that it used to be a building for assisted living seniors (but can't verify that)... I would not return.

To expand upon Greg's suggestion, Google the hotel name and check out the reviews on TripAdvisor, Expedia, Hotels.com, and other sites. A quick perusal revealed several reviews that stated the staff was wonderful, but the bathroom/decor/etc was horribly dated and needed a renovation. At $269 per night, I don't expect "needs renovation." I can get that from a Days Inn at $150 or less.

Hey now! There's a nice Days Inn in the Lincoln Park atea of Chicago. Small rooms but very friendly staff and centrally located lol.

Hugs,

Greg

I didn't say I don't like Days Inn! In fact, I've stayed at several. However, I can excuse a dated Days Inn when I am paying $100 a night. I can't excuse dated when they charge over $200.

I searched the forum and found some good recommendations for Le Parc Suites in West Hollywood. But they were from 5 or so years ago. Does anyone have any recent experience with this hotel? Thanks!

It's a nice hotel. It's very apartment like and great for entertaining guests. You've got a microwave and refrigerator. The rooms are pretty good sized and cozy in a wooded area of West Hollywood. As BVB says it's in a place that's not in walking distance to the bars but it's not that far either. I like it:)

Many escorts stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel West Hollywood Hotel & Suites. The location is damn near perfect if you want to be right in the heart of WeHo. It is located on Santa Monica Blvd. and is conveniently near all the action. I've meet a couple of escorts there, it is perfectly acceptable but not great. Parking is on site.

Agreed...good assessment. It's not perfect, but perfectly acceptable. The Ramada's not cheap, not a lot of bang for your buck, but you are paying for location, and in LA, that always comes at a price.

I've lived in WeHo for many years (over 30). Le Parc is 2 blocks south of Santa Monica Blvd. on West Knoll Dr. It's very easily within walking distance of The Abbey ( unless you have mobility issues). The Ramada is on Santa Monica Blvd between West Knoll and West Mount Dr. That being said, it could use some updating. I had a friend stay there last year, and he liked having a kitchenette, and being in a quiet residential area. I visited an escort who was staying at The Chamberlain, it was very nice and is literally behind the The Ramada on a quiet residential street.

I thought the rooms were beautiful.

Thanks everyone! I have stayed at the Chamberlain the last 3 times I have visited. But there costs just seem to get higher and higher. There rooms are great, but now are up to $400 a night. I think I have decided on the Ramada. Seems a bit more reasonable as far as price. But I expect the quality to be less than Chamberlain.

LOL...This made me chuckle. We definitely have different ideas about what is "walkable". But then again, I hated walking from Trunks to the Abbey. I'm good for about 3 (short) blocks max...:D

If you are in WeHo on a weekend, the city now operates a Trolley Bus called The Pick Up Line. It is free and makes a circuit of West Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd from Doheny to Fairfax. It runs from 8 pm to 3 am on the weekends. The bus has a soundtrack provided by several local DJs. So BVB next time you are in WeHo you won't have walk far to get around (at least on Friday and Saturday)

Parking is a pain in the area and very expensive at the hotel itself. There is a WEHO public lot a few blocks east of the hotel (a short walk) though where the rates are quite low. That's where I parked the last time I saw an escort at the Ramada.

I've parked there, it's a great solution to help with the parking problem, but unfortunately my friend got his car vandalized on the lower level there once, they slashed the top of his convert early in the evening while we were at dinner, so I stopped parking there. I just used the lot behind trunks or at the car wash. More expensive, but safer...

The Chamberalain was one of the hotels recommended to me when I was there, but I stayed at the Andaz (also recommended). Neither was cheap but then the Ramada wasn't either. If I'm just visiting a city I would try to find a cheaper option, but if I'm hiring for an overnight even $300 spent on a hotel is a relatively small part of the total overnight cost. Two nights in a $150 hotel rather than a $300 one leaves me with $300 for, well, you get the idea.
