It is indeed a wake up call to hear criticism. I'm not perfect nor do I profess to be. It frustrates me that anonymous people can say things about my professionalism without at least providing some details so I know whom and what we are discussing in an open forum. I don't know who either of my disappointed detractors are... unlike most of the kind gentlemen on the forum whom I have met. I would encourage the two gentlemen to openly discuss the details of their encounter and let the chips fall where they may regarding the experience and my reputation. This might give me the opportunity to either make an apology or defend my actions. I highly suspect I wouldn't have turned someone away without a good reason. I want to work, please people and save for my future.

I can count on one hand the amount of times I have cancelled an appointment in the last two years. Whatever the reason; sickness, family matters or scheduling. I always respond to texts and emails and sometimes I politely decline to meet someone. Just because you contact me doesn't mean I have to see you. I don't consider that stiffing anyone. I've had a few appts where I don't think I lived up to the expectations of the client, but once again, I've set the bar extremely high for myself and I consistently and constantly aim to reach that bar. I know that my rate is high and in return my service should always be high if not higher. I sincerely want to be the best escort I can possibly be. Kind, honest, professional, dedicated. That doesn't mean everyone is going to like me and that's just fine with me.

Respectfully - Alec

Ok I was being vague in my response to the poster about being "stiffed" by Alec. I have no desire to discredit him by unveiling the details of the encounter that occurred between him and I publicly in this forum. If Alec wants to hear me out then I would love for him to initiate a private message. I have put the situation behind me and in a lapse of judgement I made a comment I should not of made knowing Alec is a regular on this board. I apologize.

I, for one, am glad you wrote it. One should not be afraid of the truth. On the other hand, an occasional negative encounter is to be expected. I thought Mother Teresa was a cunt, but I was in the minority.

I never met either Alex or Teresa, but I am not surprised that they are both human, and, therefore, might make human mistakes. This does not preclude celebrating their positive achievements.

Actually, I think it would be a much worse discredit to him to come attack him and then demurely go "resolve" it in private. Prospective clients will never be able to brush away the mysterious accusation from their minds.

Alec very intelligently has asked you to openly discuss the situation. My assumption is that he knows your accusation was -to be generous- more of a poetic license than a fact, so talking it out in the open will allow all of us to determine that.

Respectfully, I think your apology should be in form of an open discussion of what happened and what prompted you to write this.

I, myself have been the focus of vague but outrageous accusations in here. When pressed, of course, it turned out that it was just a case of sour apples and an overactive imagination.

This is Alec's livelihood. If you exaggerated or took somewhat of a license, please let everyone know.

I am emailing with Alec now and when I have cleared things up with him I will post on the forum. I agree with you

Good for Kaboom to attempt to figure this out privately first. Good for Alec for being mature enough to accept a private conversation to discuss it - shows his emotional intelligence and a good business sense. Thanks for keeping it classy, guys! I truly hope it works out between you two.

I did indeed have an opportunity to connect with kaboom and I've asked him just to copy and paste our conversation if he feels comfortable in doing so. The matter revolves around a cancellation policy I have and neither he nor I did anything wrong in my opinion. It's just a business matter. I suggested sharing the short Converation with the forum for two reasons. It makes clear the actual circumstances of me "stiffing" someone, and I hope it will open a thoughtful and kind discussion (emphasis thoughtful and kind) on the topic of deposits and cancellelations.

In regards to blackriver, I cannot comment on what he wrote because I don't know who he is, nor can I initiate a PM here because he blocked me.... So I have no idea what he is talking about. I personally think it cowardly. I welcome a conversation with him, whether private or public. Who knows, maybe I am in the wrong in another instance. I believe accusations should be based upon the actual transparent circumstances of an event. Otherwise our imaginations often lead to worse conclusions than the actual facts. I know I am a stand up guy, and I will never stiff or treat someone poorly, even if they give me cause to. I have nothing to hide because I play above the boards. I may have disagreements with people, make a mistake or faux pas or my service might not be as appreciated as it usually is by most, but that doesn't make me a bad person or theif. It is a subjective matter on quality and ultimately value. It is simple business.

I work very hard to sell myself as the Ferrari or Bentley of this small niche world of escorting. Some people drive me like a Prius, others scoff at my price tag, some just kick the tires and luckily for me... some choose to enjoy a luxurious ride. I hope people see my value, because I certainly value myself without being snobbish and I sincerely try to remain humble. There are tons of other options out there and I have no illusions of grandeur. I'm just me and what you see is what you get. I continue to be grateful for the mostly positive light this valuable forum paints me in, and I'm even more grateful for the kind men I've met.

It might not be just you. I tried to check his other site content just to see what kind of person he was. It is blocked. That is generally a pretty good indication that the identity was created for less-than-honorable reasons and the posts cannot be trusted. There are a couple well known forum members who have turned off PM because they got bothered in the past, but hiding your past posts is just screaming that you have something to hide.

I did the same thing for kaboom and saw that he had many fair and balanced posts and wasn't just someone with an axe to grind. Knowing your reputation, I figured there had to be some kind of misunderstanding. You simply don't get a reputation like you have by stiffing people or treating them unfairly.

Well, Alec, youve handled yourself like the true professional that you are: self-assured, fair, drama-free, and On-Brand. Ty for sparing us a spectacle and for being a role model for classy behavior. Im grateful to have you around as a top tier choice.

I really cannot let this pass without comment.

When she was alive, I visited Mother Teresa's orphanage in Calcutta. I have never had a more moving experience; what Mother Teresa and her many associates did for those children is beyond wonderful. Children left in baskets and on blankets in front of the orphanage were given excellent care by MT and her associates. She and they not only saved the lives of thousands of children, but gave many of them the opportunity to live flourishing lives.

I am sure Mother Teresa was not perfect, and she probably harbored some outdated views about LGBT people, but I am indignant that a person who devoted her life to such a worthy cause as abandoned kids (and dying adults) should be referred to in this demeaning way. Such crude language is a degraded form of Trump Talk, in my view.

I guess many people here need an emoji to tell them something is so outrageous that it could not possibly be true. My point, and thank

you for making it, is that even Mother Teresa who advanced one step closer to sainthood today was less defended than Alec. He is a nice guy. He talks a good game. He has a great body. But I would have thought Mother Teresa being called a cunt might have generated a bit more reaction than his being called out on a bad encounter. Until you did so Andy, either people got it and overlooked it, or people did not care as much about Mother Teresa as they do about Alec's reputation. Your indignation is appreciated.

Mother Teresa was evil. She encouraged the poorest of the poor to have more babies--children they could not afford to raise. WTF was that about? Did her orphanage have a quota?

From my perspective this whole exchange has been, in balance, positive. The starting point, congratulating Alec for being Rentman of the Day is really neither here nor there. What followed is what matters. There was indeed a cascade from the initial post. There were two detractors, one seems to have resolved the issue with Alec and the other seems to be a fake (whether he is or not is immaterial, that he hid from backing up his statements or even discussing anything says far more than his initial post here). Edit: Now both seem to have been resolved, so that's good.

Alec defended himself, and a number of other posters endorsed his personal qualities and his professionalism as an escort. Many posters here already know my views on him, he is charming, intelligent, professional in his dealings with clients (or this one at least) and knows his way around, ahem, close personal relationships. I wrote a review and don't resile from anything I said.

What reassures me is that the collective wisdom of the room concluded that Alec had no case to answer (and moved off onto a tangent). This is not the first time that the room has launched into a discussion about an escort nor is it likely to be the last. The room usually gets it right, even if at times it takes a while.

+1...An excellent post. Measured... fair and balanced. Thanks Mike

The Catholic Church has always been pro-life. Some may say to the extreme, based on their stand on birth control. Whether or not you believe in the Church's teachings or the teachings of any church, is totally your choice. But there is no doubt about Mother Teresa's care for humanity and especially the children. I realize that this is no place to get into a religious discussion, but, calling her evil is highly insulting to me.

As my earlier post said, in passing, Mother Teresa had a home for the sick and dying as well as an orphanage. I did not visit the former, but by all accounts it provided a peaceful and supportive environment for those in their final months. I am not a Roman Catholic, but I have nothing but admiration for Mother Teresa. And, I might add, our own community's work to provide support for people dying of AIDS links our spirits with that of Mother Teresa.

Not often one can respond to a thread where the lives of Alec Andrews and Mother Theresa have been intertwined in a very unusual manner.

Mother Theresa's ability to live among the poor, provided them faith in humanity is indeed saintly. I doubt any of us here would be willing to give up their whole to help the poorest of the poor in a caste society that treats poor within glass box with no hope of their children having a better life. She believed in the sanctity of conception, nothing wrong with that if you believe life begins then so be it. Fortunately we live in a place where we can have differing view points. Yes I was born a Catholic, I still have faith in God. I think we can talk with more civility with others I believe that is what the Pope is promoting, and geez so does Daddy.

Now to the faith in gentlemen who provide wonderful service as Alec does, hardly shaken with comments here. I hope Black River takes the time to contact Alec and resolve the matter. Alec is a great guy and I was happy to have met him early on when he started here. He is certainly one of my top ten gentlemen and very sweet guy to know outside of hiring as well.

I am not a Roman Catholic

In the interest of full disclosure, I probably should have mentioned that I am Roman Catholic. Not a very good one, but that's how I was raised.

Bart is right. It's always amazing to see how far some threads wander from their original topic. Where else in all of the internet could one read a discussion that wanders from Alec to Mother Theresa? I'm looking forward to the next discussion of Donald Trump, frosted flakes, baby oil, and the Pope. Humm, on second thought, that's not so far fetched given what we've been treated to politically already.
