I was lucky enough to have dinner in San Francisco with Kurt Marshall, Jim Bentley, and Chuck Holmes (then the owner of Falcon Studios) in about 1986. Both Kurt and Jim were excellent dinner companions and great fun (we only met for a very nice dinner and everyone was wearing a tuxedo). It was (and is) a very memorable occasion. Kurt's death was a terrible loss. Jim's book, "Last Time, I Drew A Crowd" is an interesting autobiography and worth the read (available at Amazon).
