I was going to suggest earlier trying out Craigslist/Backpage, by posting to troll for friends like students, etc. lots of times in Towns that don't have a lot of active traditional ads, this can work well. Can work well even here in SoCal (disclaimer I've never posted on Backpage...but Craigslist yields prospects)
