Help?

I clicked on a link in the thread that starts Wow! Are any escorts into this? and now I seem to be stuck in Firefox. I keep getting a message that Firefox can't do something (I can't remember the verb) with my windows, with a box that lists window 1 (the thread) and window 2 (Sean Cody) with checks next to them, and it has boxes below to click on (Restore) and (Close), but I can't click on anything, and all I get on the screen is the endless whirling blue circle if I try. When I try to close out all together, I get another box that says something about closing the program or waiting, but neither one of them does any good, and when I try to open Firefox again, I get the same rigamarole. There is also a box that comes up about restarting in safe mode or refreshing Firefox, but they just put me back into the same circle. I have tried shutting down the computer and starting up again, but it does no good. The troubleshooting info section on Firefox (which I could only get to through Chrome) suggests clearing cache and cookies, but I can't get to them when I open Firefox.

 

I am logged in here now on IE, and completely baffled about what to do.

Never mind. Firefox finally told me it had crashed, and fixed things.

The thing I hate about things that fix themselves is they can also un-fix themselves.
