They...whoever 'they' are...say never assume anything....well, I did, anyway.

So I mentioned before that I, like maybe lot of you, visited this forum, not signing in, not really trusting reviews and just interested in reading something of sexual nature....really not interested in anything else.....maybe looked here once or twice a year. And 'assumed' most guys on here were not..not like me...I'm educated, business man, traveled a bit, etc. So I decided to sign in this past July and started posting and reading. So here's my apology to you all....I assumed you were just average guys...not really interested in anything other than sex. just basic horny guys. WELL, was I wrong....very wrong!!!!!! (Not wrong about the sex part but everything else I assumed) This forum is filled with people that are well educated....very educated, intelligent, well traveled, thoughtful,.....teachers, professors, doctors, business men and women, all sorts of professional people etc., etc......who have great knowledge of food, art, history, mathematics, politics, and so on. I'm totally embarrassed that I thought differently.

And one further comment, whenever I hired, it really was always about sex...kind of still is. But, reading what the escorts write on here...about their frustrations, joys, about their business, their lives, funny and moving things they write....certainly opened my eyes how I think about them. I've only met one escort from this forum so far and what a delight that was.

Look, I know we are here to expand our sexual interests and how and who to meet/hire and that is number one why we are here but the the extras we get are quite wonderful and interesting.

I agree. Ive always gotten a sense of good vibes from people since I've been here. I was also sketched out when people started telling me about the forum. I guess one doesn't think such a sexually explicit thing could entertain so many with out any type of sex. It's truly wonderful, the community we have here.

 

After my burns happen, the outpour of people trying to help me. Emotionally, mentally and physically was flattering. So many men, I've only had a few LOLs with on the forum, some I've texted and private messaged. Hell-- even a few I've never had contact with before reached out to help me. That made me eyes sparkle as I caught off tears.

Great post, JJJ! This forum has it's share of trolls, no doubt about that. But, there are far more intelligent, thoughtful, caring posters than trolls. I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few (client) posters in person and have yet to meet anyone of poor character.

The kind of people that post in this forum is one of the very big reasons I enjoy doing what I do. I do love sex, and I won't deny that but the conversations I have had, the wonderful dinners discussing life, the fascinating people, the advice taken and given, the stories, experiences and the friendships I have developed is what I love best about this career. I often have friends ask me about the kind of guys I meet doing this and my answer is, normal everyday guys like you and I. When the time comes that my shelf life has expired in this business, and we all know we have one, I will surely miss all of the above the most. I find the relationships we have are so much greater than the hot love making. I am new to this forum, and have to say I wish I found it a lot sooner.

More than any other group of people I've yet met, this forum is my tribe. A few members here know more about me than almost anyone. After my car accident, a member of this forum spent over forty bucks to send me chocolate from his local, non-chain, small-town candy store. After I lost my job, a member of this forum sent flowers. I didn't get that kind of support anywhere else. When I went to the forum's Chicago meetup in the summer of 2014, I had no idea how I would be received. As far as I know, I was/am the first female to attend any Daddy's-themed event. If anyone was uncomfortable that I was there, I never knew it. That group of two dozen or so gay men was welcoming, funny, whip-smart, and fun. I will admit that a VERY few posters are on my "ignore" list, but as others have said, this is a great group of people. I owe you all more than you know.

I always think of going to Raleigh, NC but always divert from Richmond,VA striaght to family in Fayetteville. I just get to excited to see family. Seems like Charolette though, in terms of drugs. That's the only thing I hate about traveling and working-- tons of drug inquiries. Say no to drugs! However, do smoke medical marijuana. Honestly, just say no to meth, and crack.

I havent been around sincethe beginning of the forum but darn well close to it. When I stumbled upon the forum I figured I'd get some advice meet a guy or two and call it a day.that was back in 2003 I think. Now look at me it's 2016 and I'm still posting. Why? Because I feel I can mostly be myself here. I feel comfortable and most of the guys here are pretty swell. And I appreciate that when one of has a hardship we gather around and do our individual best to lift him up. That's hard to find in our self absorbed world these days.
