It's really a non-issue for me, just like Jodie Foster's sexuality was a non-issue when a partner at the firm started questioning her identity. I asked what it had to do with her ability to act.

 

Also, there is good reason behind the boycott. Don't know about Mr. Smith's roles, but that Sylvester Stallone is nominated and not the director (Ryan Coogler) and actor (Michael B.

Jordan) who revived the Rocky franchise is criminal. (Coogler and Jordan did great things in 2013's Fruitvale Station, which also got no Oscar love.)

I'm attracted to women sometimes but have never been in a situation to act on it. If I were a public figure, do I declare my pansexuality preemptively or do I get to bang whomever and think it's not other people's business?

I agree, i think this could get Daddy and others potentially in trouble. I am not overly paranoid but when it comes to underage I am overly overly cautious. Also given the heightened focus on the industry as well as the recent rash of underage issues popping up i think it is inappropriate to post on a message board. I really don't want to be associated with that type of thing.

I hope you don't mind me making the suggestion that if you don't think it is appropriate or may violate Terms and Rules that you use the Report to make the issue known. Perhaps you and others have done so. Ultimately Daddy and/or the Admins can make the decision if it crosses the line or not. I am in no way suggesting that you shouldn't post your opinion here, I just want to make sure you and others are aware of the Report option.

 

I personally don't think the post in question adds anything meaningful to the thread but imho I don't think it violates Terms and Rules, but that is just an opinion and I of course yield to the powers that be to make that decision.

Mr. Smith has a reputation for being homophobic ( apparently "... The Lady doth protest too much") and Ms. Pinkett-Smith is all but a cypher in terms of her importance to the AMPAS membership. His role in Concussion was well reviewed, but I do not recall anyone saying it was oscar worthy. Mr. Jordan would have been nominated in the Best Actor category where there were many outstanding performances, his would have not stood the test of comparison in that category for 2015. None of us know anything. All there are now are rumors and insinuations. They might be true. But if every Hollywood Star that had gay rumors were actually gay, the percentage of gay Hollywoodites would far exceed our approximate 4% percent of the US population.
