I very much dislike the sag look. I don't need to see your pants near falling off. unless your in shape and have a GREAT ASS.. then its fine:p, but most guys who are sagging do not have a great ass... When they (the patients) come into the building I have to tell them multiple times to pull up your pants. They complain, say I'm discriminating against their style and heritage, I tell them pull up your pants, we consider it indecent exposure... or leave.

yeah, I sorta heard that above as the origin of this phenomenon, but the story I heard is it had to do with no belts allowed in jail, so pants sagged, and it became a badass fashion statement about how tough I am (as if I was in jail once and am paying homage to my homies still in there)....or something like that.....

Ha. Two scenarios of this fashion trend. Yours is what they believe. Sincitymix's would end it overnight. It all makes sense though. Rap and the tough guy culture around it are the thing right now. Kids want to emulate that.

 

Then you contrast this all to the girls wearing shorts that leave nothing to the imagination no matter what their sizes.

a much better view to look at. My other pet peeve is guys who wear pull on pants who shouldn't. They are not made to stretch over 40-50 extra pounds.

The prison-homo story is widely repeated. False, too.

 

While sagging did gain its start in the U.S. prison system, it was not a clothes-wearing style authored by imprisoned homosexuals intent upon advertising their interest in casual flings.
