I hired someone a couple days ago from RM. I've seen his ad for awhile. I thought he'd be fun to hire. We exchanged a few emails and texts. But when he showed up... BTW, his pics and descriptions are totally accurate..... he had a very nice personality and was excited to start playing, but as soon as I saw him, he just wasn't my type. I know it was 100% my problem, but within 5 min I told him I was not into it and said we should stop. (Usually if this happens, it's the reverse that happens ) Of course I paid him... no problem at all. He seemed a little shocked but was nice about leaving.

This has never happened to me ever. Anyone else had that happen?

Nope. Not when the pictures were accurate and the personality was good. I have lost some enthusiasm when the pictures were extremely flattering and once sent someone away before anything started. In that case the pictures were extremely misleading, and as shallow as this may be, he had exaggerated his height by a good 4 or 5 inches. That's a deal breaker for me.

You did good JJJ. Glad you paid him. Exactly what I would have done. I've always said, if an escort represents himself fairly and shows up as advertised, and it is the client that has the problem with chemistry...then you owe the fee. Don't dwell on it, it happens from time to time, best to just move on.

Unfortunately, yes, it has happened to me as well. The exact situation: nice guy, accurate pix, but my head, heart, and/or pecker just didn't click. Chemistry is a weird thing for me. I usually try to stay engaged bc sometimes first impressions can be deceiving. However, if it isn't working, I'm missing the main point of the engagement!

One more thing, no matter how beautiful and confident your companion is, you are dealing with another human being whose feelings and emotions are just as real as yours. Therefore, I try to be direct but also thoughtful in how I explain myself.

Like you, J3, I also pay as agreed.

Can you please elaborate?

Why he wasn't your type if he match his pictures and description?

He wasn't a good kisser?

I kinda know why and I, for the most part, knew what to expect but in my mind I thought it would work. Let me add, he did nothing wrong.. it's all me and my predilections.

Soooo.....I'm not generally into guys much taller than me....5'8 roughly here... he was over 6 ft. I know, I know. But I had to try. . :)

He wanted to kiss from the start but I really didn't want to, which is strange cause I love kissing and he is very attractive. 2 other things... 1. Although he was masculine, there was something 'West Hollywood' about him which was a turnoff. Maybe guys who live here understand that...hahaha. 2. When he walked in he called me 'Daddy'.... haha. Some of you probably might like that but I thought to myself I'm not your f****king daddy.

The end. . :)

This has happened to me with escorts who came across as more butch in their ads (or I projected more butchness on them). I've also had a few guys who forgot that they were pitching as total tops. I can think of two NYC men whose apartment decor was way too precious for their respective images or the scenes we planned.

No, it has never happened to me. But then I am a 'repeat business' type of client and rarely on the prowl for the next new thrill.

I certainly understand having wonderful ones to repeat with but every now and then, doesn't a new one catch your eye...maybe stimulates more then your eye?

Yup, I can see being called "Daddy" (no offense to the site owner / operator here!) would set me off too. Another term I cannot stand is "Darling" of "Honey" / "Hun".

God!! I hate those terms being used on me too.

Just once, years ago. The guys pictures matched but his chest was stubbly (making me sad, because I would have loved it had it been grown out), and just a weird personality. I went through with the appointment, but my heart (or anything else) wasn't in it, I paid the guy but have never repeated with him.

I don't like Daddy. I've come to grudgingly accept it in certain circumstances. I'm not very fond of Babe, Honey, Hun, or other terms of endearment. Maybe I would if I were actually in love with the guy. And for some reason even though I look bearish and people associate with bear culture which I'm not really into, I might not mind being called Bear or Yogi by someone I was in love with.

I swear I only clicked once... Why this only happens to me, LOL?

Marylander, you do realize that if your post ends up being a double or even triple post here on the forum (even though you only clicked once!) you can hit the edit link on each and delete the duplicate posts, right? Just leave one copy on the thread! :):):)

I know but it would take me at least 10 mins to delete them, believe me I've done it but I won't do bother again.

I don't live there either. But it's WEHO-the gay area. Probably the California equivalent of what Chelsea in New York used to be-although I don't live in NYC either.

Once a looooong time ago. Beautiful guy. I was all for it until we met. In person, despite his declaration of legal age, he was just so young-looking I felt it would be wrong for me to indulge. I paid him and explained my feelings, which he said he understood. We chatted for about 20 minutes, then I left. Oddly, I didn't feel embarrassed or overly disappointed.

I don't like Daddy from anyone who is actually young enough to be my son. Don't mind it so much from someone closer to my own age because it feels playful rather than creepy.

I actually like Babe and don't mind Boo. I imagine that the endearment adverse really don't like Boo.

In this situation, I feel for the escort. Even though you've paid him for not going through the session, to be rejected when he's done nothing wrong can be really disheartening. Bear in mind he is a human being and have feelings.

If I was the client, rather than send him away I would simply ask him to hang out. As in talk, have a drink and enjoy his company for an hour. It is a better alternative. You might be suprised what you can learn about him even if it's just for an hour.

Again I don't live there and I've never been in the good looking elite strata. But from stereotypes -picture this 'muscular/athletic' or 'athletic/slim' gay metrosexuals. They'd be very similar to the frat boys from college-but a bit more grown up except for the ones that actually are in college or college age.
