Yes or No to A4A since escort category removed?

You know I tried this...it was a big fail for me!

 

Hmm...that's too bad, as it would seem like a classification that would be easily co-opted for use by escorts. Unless the guy advertised as an escort prior to the change it is very unlikely that I would contact a masseur for escort services unless his profile stated that he escorted. All that being said, it is silly to have lumped escorts with masseurs. They should have created a classification for "companions."

Do you mind if I forward this to the invisible a4a technicians? Companions is perfect and non sexual. Before my ad expired, I was confused as whether to hide behind computer services, room for rent, or houseboy. Even grooming services sounded more escort related than masseur.

Another annoying thing about the A4A site now is that if you've identified yourself as a "professional", all data such as position, status, dick size, cut or not, safe sex, etc., is all missing now. So not only do you not know if a "masseur" will actually escort but you don't know much else at all about him, requiring you to ask all of those questions. Then you get into the problem of some guys not wanting to discuss anything specific. I think the whole thing is a big fail on A4A's part.

Yeah they're gonna totally and completely lose that part of their revenue soon if they don't get it together. Because people aren't going to stand for paying for some crap where they are limited.

 

I'm already boycotting it because the change has made it even more crap than it was before. But, at the same time I was kinda telling myself it's time to relinquish my escort profile on adam4adam, except in the cases of traveling. It defeats the purpose to have an ad that gets no phone calls or clients; much less emails, for hours and days. But, if I keep a regular profile up, I'm getting emails all day long. Granted, 95% aren't looking for the serious relationship/friendship I look for...but still, I can probably get a couple (free) dates a week on a regular Adam profile versus one or 2 monthly with a pro ad.

 

Alas, I'm not into regular-random-free hookups so eventually I end up putting my ad back up.
