Finding a gay friendly Physician

Dr. Keith Young, Psychiatry, private practice. He's gay and I've been seeing him for years. His expertise is superb. The fact that he's gay is secondary but makes hims easy to talk to. He's in West L.A. M-Th and P.S. on Friday.

In general, to this day, I find physicians still amazingly head-wedged about human sexuality. I'm still head-wedged a little, and I'm pretty liberal about it, even though I've retired.

 

 

They tend to be uncomfortable talking about it. I don't ask for much, though. The only thing I need from a doc in terms of sexuality is for my uro to refill my cialis script every three months and for my PrEP doc to refill my truvada script. Although, my PrEP doc is gay and we discuss sexuality very openly.
