have been negotiating a meet with him for very soon....so far, very cool and funny texts and an endorsement from somebody I've already met with who knows him.....much prefers phone calls....I think he's in NY now, but returning to the LA area by the weekend

I'm curious: why is 1 clothed photo a warning sign?

 

If there's only one photo on the escort's profile and it's a photo of the escort fully-clothed I'd guess that either the escort isn't trying all that hard, or he searched the Internet for pics to steal and the only guy whose look he liked only had one pic available.

 

In this case that one photo is also linked to someone's meetup.com profile in Dallas.

a reverse image search on that one photo only gave me other similar ads....no meetup result, though he is from Texas (did you do the search a different way, Nvr2Thick?)....and his private photos only led to instagram-type stuff that matched what I already know about him.....not seeing red flags here.....we have now talked on the phone (see my post above) and all seems fine so far......

Someone advertising as an escort and the only photo they use to sell themselves is one of them fully clothed? You do the math.

 

Reminds me of those guys on grindr who have no profile pic and when you ask for one it's invariably a picture of them with some chick. I always ask "which one are you?"

I emailed him and he sent me his password for his locked pics... couple of beach shots that show him clean shaven and another clothed scruffy shot. Crotch and butt shot that do not include face... still iffy so can't wait to hear from azdr0710 on his experiences!

Could be... the straight bit causes me some hesitation. When I hire, I want the escort to convince me that he finds me attractive and is into the encounter as much, if not more than I am. I know it is an act in most cases but I am buying a fantasy after all. I know that some guys find the thought of sex with a straight guy very arousing, but that is not me.

Per MattR's second post to the thread, the guy has seven pictures available. It's just that six of them are (semi-) private.

His ad contains seven pictures. The clothed picture is public and the other six are semi-private. As a premium member I can see all of them. Non-premium members are able to request access to them. Prior to having a premium membership, I always asked for access to the private pics when I was interested in hiring. On the occasions where the escort would not unlock the private pics, I crossed him off the list and moved forward.

I'm a Premium Member too. But when I looked at his ad yesterday after reading this thread, his Privates were fully Private. So even if you have a membership you still have to ask for a password. I checked today and same situation.

First fully clothed pic I've ever seen on a gay escort ad. Really strange in my mind. I love getting to know the guys over dinner and such, but I do hope for us to get neeked at some point. A clothed guy who says he is straight does not, my libido, raise.

I was able to access them by clicking on them, but that was a few weeks ago. He might have changed the privacy setting after I unlocked them.
